Artymis awoke with a smile, as she always did. The happy-go-lucky calico kitten was glad to live in her home and be fed and taken care of, and she respected it thoroughly. Artymis was a little she-kit, with a long tail and deep copper eyes. She had a dull, pail coat, dappled with bits of ginger or tan, and speckled along with grays and snow whites. She respected all the things in life, from a simple ladybug to a ginormous tree, plentiful with fruits and berries, providing a home for thousands of animals. Artymis followed a strict family code - jin sei ou ka - Japanese for 'Live for what you love'. Artymis was never really told the origin of her family, yet her parents had named her after Artemis, the mythological goddess, yet always pronounced it like Art-yay-mase. It made her special, as her brother's name was Kanyo, pronounced exactly as you would think. Artymis belonged to the Ocamada family, a very small one, yet a very proud family, strong and religious and bold. They never followed the rules the normal cat way, always adding spice. Artymis followed her family and her clan's rules, always making sure she was able to be smiled apawn, though her lack of popularity. She wanted to become happy and be known as a happy person, so after flicking the tip of her spotted tail, she looked around. How about making some friends?
