ranks&&
Chancellor - the leader of the Edema Ruh. The Chancellor makes the final decisions in the troupe. There may only be one Chancellor at any time.
(Emory, played by OPIA ?!)
Second-In-Command - the deputy of sorts. The SiC helps the Chancellor with things such as accepting new members, keeping the troupe in order and overall maintaining control of the clan. There may only be one second-in-command at any given time.
(--, played by --)
Tirani - the medic. The Tirani are the ones that heal, spread folklore and take care of the troupe. There may only be up to three full Tirani at a time with three Quetentan.
(--, played by --)
Quetentan - the medic apprentices. They are chosen at Amouen age. They learn under the tutoring of the Tirani. There may only be as many Quetentan as there are Tirani.
(--, played by --)
Arcanist - this is a special rank only given to promising members. One must be chosen at E'lir age to rank up, and it is very hard to work up the ranks. The Second-In-Command is chosen from this group of members. There is no steady number, as they are decided by the Chancellor if they should be ranked up or not. If an Arcanist takes on an E'lir, they take the control of the Sentin and train the member themselves, known as a sponsor to the Re'lar, El'the, etc.
(--, played by --)
El'the -
Re'lar -
Sentin -
E'lir - an apprentice. The E'lir is the in-training, the one with the world at their paws. If an E'lir is especially promising, an Arcanist or even the Second-In-Command or Chancellor themselves may take one on as their apprentice, bumping them up to the rank of Re'lar and giving them a better chance at one day becoming Chancellor. A member can easily drop in rank, even going from El'the back to Re'lar or even E'lir, so be careful!
(--, played by --)
Amouen - The Amouen are the youngsters of the troupe. While they're usually underpaw and almost always getting on someone's nerves, they are a necessity to the Ruh and are loved. Quetentan are chosen at Amouen age because the Chancellor and Arcanists feel that Amouen age is where you can see a member for who they truly are, before rivalries and fighting come into play, to see if a cat is truly a medic.
(--, played by --)
Mother - A Mother is as she sounds; a Mother. They give birth to and take care of the Amouen until they're ready to become E'lir.
(--, played by --)
Shayem - A Shayem is an elder. They have been around a long, long time. E'lirs are taught to respect and watch their tongues, and always listen to their stories.
(--, played by --)
Veh - a prisoner of war type thing. Basically, Veh are rogues or loners who have intruded on our territory and bothered us, or cats we've taken hostage from another clan.

religion&&
Basically, their religion is Tehlin, like in the books the clan is based off of. However, Tehlu and Encanis are large cats instead of humans.
QuoteDisplay MoreIn the Tehlin religion, Tehlu is the creator and ultimate judge, a paternal god.
According to the followers of what is referred to as the Mender Heresies, Tehlu long ago became angry at mankind for their wicked ways, and chose the only pure person in the world, a virgin named Perial, to bear a mortal form of himself, called Menda, into the world.
After he was born, he grew into adulthood within a span of days, and then he went through the world eliminating evil, offering people a chance to repent their wicked ways, and destroying demons that were making people behave in evil ways and abusing them. Eventually, he had eliminated all the demons in the world except the most powerful demon in the world, Encanis. Tehlu pursued Encanis all over the world, and finally trapped him in a iron circle and burned him in a pit of fire.
While killing Encanis, Tehlu sacrificed his own mortal form, because he had to hold the powerful Encanis in the fire. Tehlu is not considered to be dead, however, as the human body that he burned to slay Encanis was merely an incarnation of himself in the mortal world.
In other folklore, Tehlu is not regarded as a god, but instead a human in the company of other legends such as Selitos and Lanre . After the madness and betrayal of Lanre, Tehlu is said to accept a mantle from Aleph along with several other heroes of the Creation War that transforms him into a winged entity of great power, and is charged with watching over the world and meting out justice in his new form.
