The ginger cat walked along until the scent of something strong made him stop in his tracks. Googlepaw sniffed, already calculating that some sort of group lived here. After all, strong smells around a certain area were usually claimed land by a clan or pack. When the borders are freshly marked, though, it doesn't take a genius to know that someone is trying to keep strangers out. Was he a stranger then? Of course, don't be an idiot. You are smarter than that. The scent is unfamiliar, therefore you are a stranger to whatever group lives here. He was sure that there might be some hostile characters in this group, though, and sat at the edge of the scent marker, looking around as he re-positioned the glasses on his face and his comfortable cap. Some might ask where he got this stuff. Well, being a former kittypet, it was quite obvious to those who knew.
