    Mindy waited at the hangout room for everyone to arrive, she had to make sure everything was 100% perfect. She began to set the table with forks and plates, after all they where arriving at lunch time so they would likely be hungry. She then set down a platter of homeade cupcakes, another platters of sandwiches, and finally a bowl filled with chips. She then put a fresh bouquet of sunflowers in the center of the table. "Does everything look alright Jason?"

    [font=comic sans ms][color=#04B45F]"It looks great, and they should be arriving at any minute."    [color=black] He said giving Mindy a smile. Jason then got out the schedules ready to pass out, as soon as they arrived in the hangout room for the meet and great.

    [font=comic sans ms][size=10][color=black]Alex sighed he couldn't understand what all this ruckus was about. He just wanted to ride his mare.......but no Alex and Mindy just had to make him help out with the meet and great....... he just wanted to get this over as fast as possible......

    Once Natalie's brother, Dan, had the car parked she quickly jumped out and began opening the trailer. Inside were 2 horses, Simon and Stella, Simon was covered in a blue fly blanket from winning a show a long time ago. Natalie stepped inside the trailer and put Simon's lead rope on his halter and led him out. He threw his head up and pawed the ground, "Easy" Natalie said soothingly Simon snorted then stopped. Natalie led the stallion into the barn, Simon's even forelock bouncing on his head.



    Dan followed Natalie not far behind with Stella. He watched Simon's evenly pulled tail bounce, he shook his head. One thing about his sister is that she went head over heels to make Simon look stunning. Even if it's for no reason, but this doesn't mean Dan doesn't like to make Stella look nice. Behind Dan Stella huffed and dropped her head, it was obvious she was really tired. Dan smiled then patted her neck.

    Mindy looked out the window and saw the two arrive. [color=#F7819F] "Jason can I go down to the stables, maybe I can show them where their horse's stalls are"

    Ic ♥: Mattie drove stopped her pickup and turned it off . She walked behind the trailer and opened the door. Her horse, Brego perked his ears when he saw her. "Hi boy! How r u today?" Mattie asked him. He nodded his head then walked behind Mattie as she led him out of the trailer. Mattie looked around and saw Natalie and Dan leading their horses.She walked over to them and said "Hi! Im Mattie." Brego sniffed Stella.

    Natalie flashes a smile to Jason, "Hi! I'm Natalie. And that would be great!" she said cheerfully. She wouldn't usually be this cheerful but she was really excited. "Oh, and this is my brother, Dan." she said with another smile.



    Dan gave a smile to Jason and small wave. He wasn't the best when it came to talking to new people, but he was okay with it. Stella let out a nicker in greeting to Simon, Natalie, and Jason, being the kind mare she was. Most of the time that is.

    "It's great to meet you guys, anyways Natalie Simon's stal is number 11 right next to my horse. Dan your horse, Stella's stall can be found at stall number 15 right next to the tack room."[color=black] He glanced over at Mattie and gave her a wave.

    [font=comic sans ms][color=black]Alex sighed he was sick of waiting around even though he was supposed to help his sister. We walked off and down into the stable, he hadn't heard that Jason was going down to the stable. So when he saw Jason in there he immediately jumped into a nearby hay pile..... After all he didn't want to be caught not doing what he was supposed to Jason would get after him for that......


    Natalie nodded, "Alright, thanks!" she said then led Simon down to stall 11. She put Simon inside and took off his halter and blanket, Natalie placed a kiss on Simon's muzzle before stepping out and closed the stall door. Natalie hanged the halter and blanket before heading to the trailer.



    Dan also nodded and led Stella to her stall, Dan fed her a peppermint and took off her halter. Once Stella was settled, Dan also followed his sister out to the trailer.

    "Well I will be going up to the main hall, were having lunch and a meet and great once everyone arrives" Jason then left the stable and walked up to the main hall. He waved at Mindy while walking over to the main hall.....

    [color=black][font=comic sans ms]Alex soon tumbled out of the haystack spitting clots of hay ot of his mouth he then walked over to Dan [color=#B18904] "Is Jason gone?"[color=black] hay stuck out of his hair and was stuffed in his clothing. Making it a somewhat hilarious sight. He then bent over to spit more hay out of his mouth.


    Dan stopped in his tracks when he saw Alex come out of the hay stack. "Uh. Yeah?" He said, biting the inside on his cheek trying not to laugh. After a while Dan began laughing, "If you don't mind me asking, why the heck were you in the hay stack?" he said still laughing a bit.

    "I didn't want my brother Jason to catch me, you see I'm supposed to be setting up the Meet and Great with my sister Mindy. And if Jason catches me not helping out he makes me clean all the stalls for a day......."Before Alex could finish he coughed up another thing of hay. [color=#B18904]"Anyways I had better get going I'm gonna take my mare out for a ride, maybe I will see you around...."[color=black] He then jogged off grabbed brushes, a hoof pick, and a bridle, and ran over to Rebel's stall and quickly groomed her off. While the mare was chewing the hay out of his hair in the process. Alex then slipped the bridle over Rebel's head..... Rebel however didn't like that her hay eating festival was over and snapped her teeth at Alex aiming to bit him. Alex however easily dodged it he had become rather acquainted with Rebel's temperament. He then led the mare out of the stall and got on her and rode down to the cross country course...

    [color=white][font=comic sans ms]Mindy looked out the window waiting for everyone to come in, she wandered where Alex was but she shrugged it off, she put the finishing touches on the table and arranged the gift bags an schedule. She couldn't wait to meet some new people.


    Driving down the gravely driveway in her jet black pick up truck Nicole looked around nervously at all the other trucks. "Oh gosh I'm late," She mentally thought as she pulled in an available spot. Gracefully jumping out of her car she walked to the back of her sleek black trailer and un latched the door. Inside pixie whinnied at her. She smiled he looked so handsome in his maroon halter. She quietly gave him a little cluck and he slowly backed out. She patted him and started leading him to the barn. She looked around for someone to help but no one was there. She looked around hoping she was at the right place.

    Time- Meet and Greet is starting at Main Hall

    ]Stunned by the girl being so openly kind to her Nicole looked up. "Umm I'm Nicole she said sheepishly as she tugged on the sleeve of her sweater. Watching the girl who was so full of energy somehow gave her a headache. Then Pixie gave her a nudge letting her know he was here and suddenly she felt better.[/font]


    After getting her tack into the tack room Natalie made her way to the Main Hall. As she stepped inside she saw Jason, "Oh, hi" she said with a smile. Natalie wanted to make new friends and today was a perfect day.



    Before walking to Main Hall, Dan stopped by to check Stella. He smiled when the mare nickered a hello to him, "Hi, darling." he whispered. Stella nuzzled him for treats, Dan chuckled then gave her a peppermint.

    "Cool anyways your horse's your horses stall is number 2, right next to my brother Alex, Oh and everyone is going up to the Meet and Greet. That's where you will be getting your schedules, lunch, and getting to know everyone. In fact I had better get going up there, so maybe I will see you around" Mindy gave her a wave good bye and walked up to the main hall.

He didn't want to be late Jason would kill him.....well not literally but you get the point.... Jason then opened the Main hall door slipping past Jason and acting as if he had been there the whole time.


    "Thank you." Nicole gave her a smile and walked pixie to his stall. Slowly unclipping his leadrope she clossed his stable door and started walking briskly up to the hangout room. She stopped herself at the door and took a breath whispering to herself. "You don't have to like any of these people just smile and get it over with so you can show them in the ring." Nicole smiled more confident after her own little pep talk. She saw a girl with long hair and a cowboy hat speaking to a boy a little older than her who seemed like his mind was looking for someone else. Sitting down on one of the chairs Nicole looked around hoping to catch someone's eye.
