Jack raised and eyebrow,'' miracle?

Sable glanced back over her shoulder, " well, my pa said miracles dun happen if you dun belief in 'em." She said

He sighed, giving up on talking to her

Sable kept walking until her legs gave out in exhaustion and even then she tried to push herself up to continue

Taylor had fall asleep on the back of her horse, leaving Jack awake, him leading their two horses. He frowned and went to pick her up, setting her on the back of his horse and grabbing the reins of hers, placing her sister beside her. Then he continued walking, even though he was tired too.

Sable blinked in surprise and she opened her mouth in protest, but tiredness overcame her and she fell asleep

He kept walking for a few more hours before Taylor started to wake up

Emmi was awake too, since she'd slept earlier on Sable's back

Taylor started looking over Emmi's feet, making sure the stitches were holding
