Her cheek bones are very defined, along with her jawbone. Maia's collar bone is also very defined. Her legs are very slender, and yes she even has a thigh gap. So, she is what many teenage girls consider 'a girl with a perfect body' even though she hates herself for her body because she doesn't have much breast tissue, and not her 'dream butt'.

    clothing style → Her usual clothing categories are hipster and rebellious. Maia is very diverse with her daily choices as well. One day she'll be wearing a short dress, a shawl, and some jewelry with a pair of pumps, then the next she'll wear skinny jeans, a t-shirt with a leather jacket, and combat boots. Maia personal favorite is a cropped tank top with skinny jeans and a pair of Vans, and if she had the option she'd wear that same fashion every single day.     Maia has got some brains that you wouldn't really suspect. She doesn't really reveal this aspect, in fear of her talent being used for someone else's gain, instead of using her smarts to help others who need help.She can figure puzzles out in the blink of an eye and can easily figure riddles out. She has good memory, photographic actually, and she knows her way around.

    Maia will always keep her promise, and will promise not to break a promise that she promised like a promise. She won't ever betray you, and usually remains loyal to those who need her.

    She is very observant and is often trying to listen in on everything. Having photographic memory, she can easily remember things. She listens in on footsteps, even paw or hoof steps, to identify who it is, or even someone coughing. She likes to observe the abilities or acts of others, to get a taste of them without talking.

    She is very awkward, and often stammers and stutters. she's not the best with making good conversations, and is often caught trying to find a way out of a situation that involves socializing. She often comes up with awkward topics or says something weird, even if she doesn't mean it.

    Maia doesn't really talk to anyone, and if she does you might as well consider them very lucky. Her whole life she resided in her room, seeing her mother and father were constantly fighting on the other side of her door.




    Depressed//
    For most of her life, Maia has battled deep depression. She absolutely hates talking about it, so that's why no one could ever keep her in counseling, seeing if she didn't talk it was a waste of money. Maia never really showed her sadness though, just for the sake of others.




    Suicidal//
    Soon enough, Maia's depression caused her to go into many mental break downs. Usually these episodes would result in her trying to commit suicide, but all her efforts faltered. Maia has tried many different methods including: overdosing, slitting her wrists, and jumping off a building.




    Addict//
    To get away from all the stress and sadness, Maia turned to drugs. The first time one of her friends dragged her to a party she tried about 3 different things, and found that all of them resulted in her being happy and care-free. The drugs she tried included: Marijuana, cocaine, and heroine.

    problems → Maia's problems include: Depression, attempted suicide, and drug use.
    reasons behind the problems → Her main reason behind every single one of her problems was her life back at home. Maia's mother and father were constantly fighting, and more than once she would have to either pull her mother off her father or vice versa so one wouldn't kill the other. In her case, it was much more than a broken home. Even school was horrible. The teens in her class would constantly bully her for the scars on her wrists, and always told her to go kill herself. Even though these are only some reasons why her problems started, they are the main cooperates.




    brief history → Maia was born in New York, New York and grew up there her whole life. From the ages 1-8 years her mother and father were completely normal parents, until one day her mother found out that her father was cheating. From that point on Maia was constantly surrounded by yelling, and fighting that she usually had to break up. Maia never really understood why her mother didn't just leave, but she figured it was the love she had for him. After 3 years of torture, Maia decided to move in with her ill grandmother in Albany, and take care of the woman. Maia has lived there up until she was sent to the farm.
