HawaiianClan (Open! Semi-advanced)

How it Began:
It all started when a family decided to go on a trip to Hawaii on their sail boat. It was all smooth sailing until there was a horrible storm. The ship sank and the little kitten was thrown off the boat in the ruckus. Her name was Seastar and she clung to a piece of driftwood for her dear life. She counted the days she drifted, one…two…three…four…five…six…seven. Eventually she lost count and fell into a deep sleep. She slipped off the wood and washed onto the shore of Hawaii. A native cat found her and took her to her den, a small stone cave with a pool of water in it. The cat’s name was Shark, and she took care of the little kitten. Seastar woke up and saw a beautiful gray she cat leaning over her, “Good morning sweetheart,” she mewed. Her voice sounded like sweet honey and the little kitten smiled, before she looked around confusedly, “Where am I?” Shark sat down and answered, “You’re on the island of Hawaii, do you know how you got here?” Seastar shook her head, “All I know is one day I was on a boat with my family, and then I was thrown into the ocean.” Shark smiled warmly, “Well, you’re safe now.” Shark raised her as her own and they decided to help other cats. Soon they had enough cats to start a clan, which they did. Seastar and Shark decided to call it HawaiianClan.

Religion and Traditions:
Traditions
The cats of HawaiianClan do have a few traditions. One of them are receiving an amulet after having contact with the god or goddess they were bound with at birth. These amulets prove you are a full member of the Clan. Another tradition are marriages, these ceremonies are held by the Shaman and are given when two cats have become mates. Each will receive a lei that have special magic casted upon them. They will last as long as the love of the two cats last. Another tradition is giving sacrifices to the gods, this can be anywhere from a basket of fruit to a captive. They give sacrifices every Half Moon or every Quarter Moon. If they need a lot of help, they will do a great sacrifice. HawaiianClan also do ball games every moon. These games include a coconut ball and are pretty much like soccer. Any member of the clan is free to participate. After that, they have a large feast to celebrate, there's fish, pork, fruit, anything you can imagine. More traditions to come!

Religion-
The clan is polythesistic and believe in Hawaiian gods. Each cat finds the god or goddess they were bounded with at birth at some event in their life. After that, they will receive an amulet and be considered a full member of the clan.

HawaiianClan give sacrifices to the gods when they hope for something good or if they believe they have done something wrong.

Ranks:
Chiefs-The leaders of the clan, they hold certain ceremonies. They also have the most power in the clan, there are usually two Chiefs who are mates. (2/2): Seastar (Brookie-) and Hammerhead (Kane)

Heirs-A kit or close relative of the Chief, they will rule when the Chief passes away or retires. There tends to be one to three at the most. If there are three, there will be a contest held to see who will claim the position.(0/3):

Guardian-A cat who watches the heirs and takes over as Chief till a heir is old enough, healthy enough, or if there is none. They are usually close friends of the Chief. (0/1):

Shaman-The medicine cats in the clan. They translate signs and messages from the gods. These cats are usually trusted very well by the Chief and will be executed if they are found with a mate or love affair. (0/1):

Shaman Apprentice-A shaman in training. They too could have a terrible punishment if they are caught in a love affair. (0/1):

Elders-The elders of the clan, they have a lot of wisdom and help the Chief make decisions. These cats are highly respected and are often looked to for guidance. They are fed first with the Mothers, and Kits. (1/10): Shark (Brookie-)

[color=black]Senior Warriors-The best fighters and hunters in the clan. They are selected at birth to be trained as a senior warrior, often by the Chiefs, Elders, or a Guardian. (1/10):

[color=black]Warriors-The fighters and hunters of the clan. They are the heart and soul of clan. Only when an apprentice does something amazing, or an act of bravery, will they become a warrior. (0/-):
