[font=perpetua]This is the story of a soldier's best friend. Well, quite a few of them, at least. We were trained to fight, to heal, to protect. We're not just weapons, we are allies. We are the war hounds, and not only is this our duty, but it is our life. The story will begin in training, where young dogs show their potential, attempting to beat the odds and show their worth to the team. We mustn't think about breeding, or they'll fix us for sure. We mustn't show weakness, or hatred toward allies, only strength and compassion for our brothers and sisters.

These dogs are almost always with their owners, but are most exposed to radiation and work within the battlefield. Most soldiers don't last very long, but they fight relentlessly and never give up.

These dogs are specially trained in upwalker healing, and help the other upwalkers find their companions. They only go to work after the area has been cleared, then they search for survivors and attempt to help in any way possible.

These dogs move ahead of the upwalkers, checking for enemies and alerting their allies with walkie talkies and recorders on their vests. They live their life in the shadows, using stealth to their advantage.
