    This was new. Very new to Americankit. If she'd remembered SunClan, she would have missed it. Wide sweeping halls, three stories and a beautiful roof to explore; all gone from the grey kittens mind. Now, Americankit was shifting on the cold floor as a draft drifted through the open doorway. The tunnels continued on back, but she didn't dare explore them on her own. To shy to approach anyone, Americankit was struggling with her memory. She really wanted to remember. But it was probably better she didn't. All her progress with building friendships was lost and she was back at square one. She had no memory what-so-ever of her father or mother, something she would have been said to find she'd lost. And Lorem was holding out of her, insisting they, whoever "they" were, had taken her memories for a good reason.

She knew the right ways to be, the places to sit where the sun hit you just right. She spent enough time sitting around camp after all, if she wasn't in the nursery. And Rhy tended not to be there too often.

    Americankit glanced up at the sound of a voice to find Rhymekit looking at her. "Oh, me? Um... Yes." It was probably her, unless Alaskanriches had a habit of bringing back strange kits. Getting to her paws, Americankit decided to take the other kittens question as a conversation starter. Libertykit pressed her to make friends, and when her sister wasn't around it was up to Americankit to do it herself. Really she liked to let Libertykit do the speaking for her. "My name is Americankit." The grey kitten padded closer to the honorguard, flicking an ear in greeting.

    "Um..." That was a very good question. Americankit would have willingly given the answer, if she'd known. Actually, a thought crossed her mind at the moment; Alaskanriches would know. As Rhymekit said, he'd brought her here. Surely he would know from where. "I don't know." Americankit meowed apologetically. "A Clan from the south, I believe. But they took the memories of my sister and I for 'security' purposes." Apparently SunClan had felt that the two kittens had been a threat to their Clan. Americankit didn't feel threatening, but what did she know. But she vowed to be happy with her new Clan, she had chosen to come here willingly, after all. "I haven't been here long, and I'm trying to adjust."

    South . . . Who was in the south? Rhy hadn't had a geography lesson yet so she wasn't sure. The calico kitten's ears flicked. "I'd offer to show you around but well . . ." She couldn't really. She could manage part of the camp without assistance, although it would be slow going. But the best spots -- in Rhy's opinion anyway -- were all not exactly nearby, places she'd need a lift to, help from someone else. "But I know most cats." She added, trying to sound a little less lame.
