    Lightpaw nodded at the deputy, bounding off in the direction of the apprentices den, looking around for someone to talk to.

    "I'll wait out here. You clan is very nice, you should know." He mewed, then sat at the entrance of the den, clearly telling them that he was waiting until they made decision.

    Lightpaw was very interested in the rogue, he padded over to the entrance and sat next to him curling his tail around his paws. "Hello sir," He dipped his head in welcoming. "I'm Lightpaw." He looked at up the cat.

    "Calling someone 'sir' is very formal. I'd rather be called Grim." The black cat's smile didn't fade. Maybe Lightpaw would trust me. Lucky streak. He thought.

    [size=13pt]Duskstar stared at Grimm as he said, 'now, Duskstar, why would I lie to you?. "Why would you lie to me? Who knows, maybe you had a horrible past that you don't wish to tell and would rather lie about it." He said, staring the rouge in the eyes. "I don't know you, Grimm, but what I do know, is that everyone has lied before." So far, I'm not to interested in letting this cat in.... And with that he trotted into his den with Cherrysplash behind. "It seems to me that you think this cat should join Fadeclan."[/size]

    "Oh yeah, I've lied before. Like when I told my mother that I didn't put a thorn in my sister's spot in the nest, which I did, proves that I've lied before." Grim said casually, not fazed by his threats.

    "That's a cool name.. Grim.. Griiim." Lightpaw repeated the name. "I've never heard anything like it before." He licked his paw and ran it over his ear. "Why are you here, Grim?" He said, giggling a little at the name.

    "Just strolling along. This is the first clan I've found other than my former own. So, Lightpaw, how long have you been training?" Grim's smile widened as the apprentice repeated his name.

    "I just started a few days ago, when I turned six moons old." He smiled, he felt so accomplished when he got to apprenticehood. "What happened at your last clan?" Lightpaw asked, head tilting once again.


    Hawk saw another rogue talking to his son. He growled and stalked away, he doesn't want another cat to take his place. He was thinking about going to talk to the leader soon, but he looked like his hands were full with this Grim.

    "They we're too boring. They were, well, they still are, one of the strongest clans around, and it was absolutely boring. How would you like it if no clan poised a threat, and no cat even dared to spark up some exitement? I think FadeClan would be nicer than them." Grim replied, then his cyan-blue eyes darted up because of a strange scent drifting from a little ways away from them. It wasn't FadeClan scent, it was different, and he didn't recognize it.

    Cherrysplash flattened her ears and gazed at the leader with emotionless eyes. "Is that a problem? I know we'd have to see if we can trust him, of course, but i think he'd make a nice edition." She told him, lashing her tail before sitting down.

    Grim ignored the two and their conversation, and flicked his ear as the strange scent disappeared. Someone was watching us. He thought, his eyes glinted in the sunlight, then his gaze returned to the apprentice.

    [size=13pt]Duskstar watched as Cherrysplash's ears went down and she lashed her tail. Usuall that was a sign of annoyance, but her eyes stayed emotionless and gave no hint of what she wad feeling. "I agree that he would be a nice addition to the clan, most likely a strong cat. But it all falls down to whether or not we can trust him." He then hesitated to say the rest, hoping it wouldnt hurt the she-cat in any way. He lowered his voice so only the calico could hear. "I watched you fight, hunt, and mentor your first apprentice and found you clever and agile. You showed no signs of betral, perfectly loyal to the clan. Perfect for deputy." He watched her carefully, seeing if any emotion would appear before continuing. "I believed you were one of the most loyal, truthful cats in the clan. And you were, up until your brother and your mother died. I know you did that out of defense, and i know you are still truly loyal to the clan, but im just putting an example out there. That you may think you truly know and trust a cat that they arent liers about their past, but they are." [/size]

    Cherrysplash flashed her gaze up from her paws. She slowly blinked, swishing her tail around her. She changed the moment Echobreeze was pronounced dead. She always been loyal, trying not to let greif take over her heart. The calico squeezed her eyes shut, thinking. Her mind reeled with thoughts. The she-cat felt like she had a connection with this rouge, but couldnt name it. Shaking her head she flashed open her eyes, only one emotion burning in the blue depths of her eyes. Determination.
    "I will watch his every move, ill make sure he isnt out of place, and ill have gaurds watch him. I know he would probably be a great warrior."
    Why am i so detirmend about this? she thought, and shook the thought away.
    "Duskstar, i know you think me loyal, and trying to be the best. I did do the right thing killing Flameclaw, and i dont have one regret. Thank you for this." She whispered, and looked away as a new emotion flared in her.
    Dont you dare! she told herself, and pulled herself to her paws.

    Shadowbreeze watched her kits play bounding across camp to see who the fastest was. What will they grow up to be she wondered?

    Nightkit ran as fast as she could to the elders den and back beating Galaxykit was all she could think about if she lost she'd never live it down.

    Galaxykit glimpsed her sister next to her racing just a little bit ahead no! She thought and pushed on.

    [color=white]Rainkit watched from where his mother was seated waiting for the two sisters to come back laying down he watched as they tried to beat each other time after time.

    "What were you looking at?" Lightpaw asked, looking in the direction of an odd scent, he didn't recognize it and he was too young to realize that it may pose a threat. He thoughts returned to the cat speaking about his previous clan. "They couldn't have been the best, no clan is. I also don't really know any of the other apprentices, I'm not very liked." He said, his eyes drooping, he was usually a quiet cat so he doesn't know many of the other cats. The stranger oddly seemed to bring out the interest in him, even in the short conversation.

    Grim smiled at Lightpaw's naiveness. "Oh, Lightpaw, I'm sure they like you. You have been the nicest cat to me so far." He lowered his ears a little. "And about my old clan, you may be mistaken about them. If you lay just a paw on one of their kits, or really anyone, they'll shred your pelt nose to tail. They taught each apprentice to fight even beyond their own ability, to take on challenges that no cat thought an apprentice could do. And that was just apprenticeship." His ears perked back up once his tale was done.

    Lightpaw shrunk back a bit at the tale. "They don't sound very nice." He said, thinking how terrible the training must be. Lightpaw doesn't have an official mentor yet, so his training has not begun yet. His ears did perk up when Grim talked well of him, "Are you sure?" He asked, "I don't really think so, but if you think so, maybe I can make some friends." He looked up at the rogue, "Like you." He smiled.

    "They actually where very nice, but not to other clans. And yes, I'm sure. Cherrysplash treated my like any other loner, then Duskstar kept asking me questions and a whole lot of cats stared at me." Grim flicked his ear and turned it around, attemting to tune in on Cherrysplash and Duskstar's conversation.
