Hey, welcome to the sign-up sheet for Gaia Nemesis Battles!
Rules:

[li]The main rule here is that your character can't be approved unless they have a nemesis. You can either make one yourself or wait for another player to make one (maybe you can ask a friend to make a nemesis for your character). The point of this system is to keep conflict and plot going, because I've certainly proved myself incapable of doing that myself.[/li]
[li]THIS IS A PLAYER-MADE GAME. And by that I mean I don't have a storyline in mind. I'll give a setup at the start, I may set off events, and I will have a character or two to keep things moving, but the players will be the main driving force of the game.[/li]
[li]An important point: the nemesis is no less of a character than the other character. Make sure BOTH characters are well made.[/li]
[li]DO NOT create threads for this game yourself. I will do that. It really helps me to keep track of how many threads we have and so that I can find them easier.[/li]
[li]Your character must be approved by me before you post in IC threads[/li]
[li]No powerplaying, god-modding, abusing other players, killing other player's characters without the player's permission, etc, etc. Basically all the general rules for any roleplay.[/li]

Setting:
The overall world is fantasy based, but with a lot of modern-day technology throw in. Magic is widespread and well-known. Some parts of the world have cities full of technology, while others are covered in farming communities who still use swords to protect themselves (those are two extremes though, there are in-betweens).
There are two main areas the game will be taking place in, one of each extreme (so, a tech city and a farming village, just to keep things clear). You can request extra settings in the OOC, and if enough people agree with you I'll make a thread for that setting.
Each setting will have it's own thread, with Gaia Nemesis Battles as one of the tags, and links to each setting in the OOC.
