  • "That sounds like the best solution. I'll knock her out." Jasmine grabbed a syringe from a cabinet that was located next to the chair she was sitting on. It had a relatively short needle and it was filled with a clear liquid. "I can't give her any pills so this will have to do." She murmured to Snake, flicking the shot with her finger quietly to mix the contents.
Jade's eyes widened in fear. She absolutely hated anything that included needles, or anything that could penetrate her skin. "N-No I'm fine." The Werewolf curled into a ball, trying to protect herself.
Jasmine shook her head, and quickly pierced the shot in her upper thigh while it was unprotected. "It's for the best, Jade." She quickly threw out the syringe, and sat back down, waiting for the sedatives to put her to sleep. "Sorry Snake, if it was too much for you to watch. I know you are very protective of her, but it had to be done." Jasmine sighed, and looked back at Jade, who appeared shocked and betrayed. "Now we wait." She muttered, her eyes still locked on Jade.

  • Snake watched, his whole body screaming at him to stop Jasmine but by then ut was too late. "I'm sorry Jade." He murmured, swallowing hard as he saw her betrayed look. He ran a hand through his hair swiftly, feeling on edge all of a sudden. He glanced out the tent, expecting to see someone standing there but there was no one, not even a scent. He gripped the bed he sat oj, feeling more and more tense by the moment. There was nothing more that Snake wanted, just to run away with Jade and pretend that the war wsn't there. Snake had a feeling he would be tortured beyond belief, if he was captured. Anything to let Jade get away.

  • "Are you okay, Snake? You look worried or anxious about something." Jasmine whispered and crossed her legs, resuming her famous pose. "No need to worry. Everyone's safe here. It's been safe for many years." She tried her best to reassure Snake, although she could still find the faintest hints of doubt in his eyes.
Jade's sleepiness slowly but surely took over her, consuming her entire body almost like a huge wave. She cuddled up into a ball on the cot, trying to gather warmth as her eyelids slowly became heavier and heavier. Jade closed her eyes and fell into a deep sleep.
Greyheart continued walking, his head down. A slight breeze howled in his ears, and the only man-made sound that remained was his footsteps. Everyone he saw earlier dispersed, and he was left alone, roaming the abandoned streets. A piece of paper shuffled on the ground, and the Vampire accidently stepped on it. "What is this?" He picked up the paper, and it revealed directions to a place called 'FireWolf Nation'. "Oh, I see." He grinned at this, folding the sliver of paper and shoving it down his pocket. "Time to tell the General." Greyheart turned around once more, and headed back to the massive castle that can appear haunting and eerie to any individual.

  • I swear Greyheart... If you find us please leave Jade out of this. Snake thought wearily, his mind clouded and wary as he glanced at Jasmine. A bad feeling washed over him, almost too strong to bear. "We have to move Jade." He said calmly as he got to his feet, about ready to tear everything apart. He checked Jdes pockets and dread washed over him, as the directions were missing. He picked up Jade carefully, slipping out of the tent. "If they come here, and I'm gone when Jade wakes up, tell her to go on." He warned Jasmine, his fingers gripping Jade softly as sorrow washed over him. Snake felt as if this would be the last time he saw her.

  • "Where to?" Jasmine asked, concern highlighting her features. "What did you two do? Give away our location?" Severe worry was shimmering in her eyes. "We all will have to move then. Not just you and Jade." She quickly got up to her feet, almost as if she was getting ready to run away as fast as she could. "They will kill all of us for being Undesirables. They see us as a threat. You and Jade are lucky to be wanted alive." She shook her head, not wanting to discuss what will happen afterwords. "All of us are coming. None of us can stand against the Nation's forces. So don't risk your life." Jasmine looked away, placing a hand on her forehead. "It might not be worth it."

  • "It will be worth it Jasmine. If I give myself up, then they'll stop the search and all of you will be safe. Please...make sure she doesn't come after me." Snake rumbled, stopping Jasmine for a second so he could lock eyes with her. Doubt and worry showed in his eyes, but determination was the strongest showing emotion. His muscles rippled as he kissed Jades forehead then handed her over to Jasmine, knowing she could handle the weight. "I'll tell the others." He said calmly, disappearing as he flitted from tent to tent, telling tem to pack up and run, for the other Nations were coming. His last stop was his trainers, where he goy a pat on the back and his katana. "Take care of her for me." Snake rumbled softly, his eyes dull and tired. "Train her." He said before going to the gate and slipping outside. He made sure the gate was secure behind him, his hand resting on his katana as he leaned against the wall. He wasn't going without a fight.

  • "Snake!" Jasmine yelled, but it was already too late, he made up his mind. "He must learn his limitations. No one can simply take out an army." She muttered to herself, feeling somewhat bizarre holding a Werewolf in her hands. "They would be looking for you too, huh?" She talked to Jade for a moment, even though she knew the Werewolf couldn't hear her. Jasmine walked out of the tent, and looked back at the Nation, seeing some buildings tower above the foliage as a faint reminder that they will be coming. "Oh, how will we ever be safe again? One could just follow our trail, our scent, the items we left behind. Our securities are officially broken, shattered into oblivion." Jasmine shook her head, a sad frown on her face. "Snake, please come back to your senses. Jade needs you, I can tell." And at that, she ran. Ran along with the others, as fast as she could while carrying Jade. "My, you won't be happy when you wake up." Her frown deepened, making it look almost permanent.
"Snake and the Werewolf will probably move from the spot, as they most likely know the disappearance of this note." Greyheart announced, looking at each individual who will be participating in the raid. "Make sure it's clean and quick. The last thing we need is a Civil War." He walked around, trying to find a hint of fear or dread in any one of the soldiers to kick them out. Greyheart didn't want weak soldiers who were not willing to give their life away for the Nation. "Now. Our two main targets: Snake and the female Werewolf. You will know who they are once you see them. The Werewolf was wearing gloves the last time I saw her to hide her claws, and her scent was relatively disguised. Once you see them, do not kill them. Repeat, do not kill them. Dismissed!" He yelled, and every soldier took off, leaving only a strong breeze in their wake. "Time to finally answer some questions." The Vampire grinned, slowly walking along.

  • Snake took a deep breath, entering his own zone of fighting and yet peace. This was what he was made for, his hand sliding the katana out of its sheath as he thought. He was made for fighting, so he would go down fighting, not cowering or hiding. He opened his eyes, which were now a dangerously dark red. Snake gripped his katana as he saw an army of fellow Vampires approaching swiftly. He flew forward, slicing and hacking into them with one name on his mind, the only one he wished to protect. Snake had promised to protect her, so thats what he was doing as he cut down Vampire after Vampire… his musves never growing tired. Jade... Snake thought, feeling claws and fangs slicing into his dkin as he fought, relentlessly slicing and kicking as they camre at him one by one. By the ti.e he was brought down, onlyxa small portion of the army remained, the other either mortally injured or too injured to even bother fighting.

  • "We got him! Throw away the sword!" Another Vampire followed the orders, and threw the sword as far as he could with his Vampiric strength. Only a slight bloodied shimmer of the blade was visible before it disappeared in the foliage way beyond. "Take him away!" Someone ordered, and one Vampire handcuffed him, and another strong-looking Vampire gripped Snake on his shoulder tightly, shoving him a few times to get him moving. Other Vampires had guns ready to fire at him if he protested. "One down, another to go! Move it!"
Greyheart walked in another direction, finding another route to enter the FireWolf Nation. He had a few other Vampires with him, but nothing too threatening. "Try to blend in. We can try to pretend we are Undesirables." He whispered seriously, his eyes twinkling is mischief. Once Greyheart encountered some gates, he skillfully hoped over them, the others imitating him. He saw others run, none of them looking behind them once. Except for one individual. A female Vampire holding another being in her hands. Possibly dead, or unable to run. He noticed the gloves on the limp individual's hands. "Looks like we already found her." He grinned, and sprinted out of the Vampire's sight.
Jasmine could swear she felt her heart jump. "Oh no! Oh no! Oh no!" She ran with the crowd, trying to blend in. "The Desirables are coming!" She yelled, her eyes full of fear. "Run!"

  • "GREYHEART!" Snake bellowed, his voice echoing around the courtyard, absolutely terrifying as he was fueious. He strained against the handcuffs, snapping them as anger rolled through him. He bolted away from the Vampiees, bowling them away as he raced after Greyhearts scent. If he was going down, he was taking Greyheart with him. Snskes eyes narrowed and his fangs grew to their full length, only ager coursing through him, granting him more strength as he barreled i to Greyheart at full speed.

  • Greyheart fell to the ground, then allowed his bodyguards to take care of Snake while he got up and chased after Jade. "No need, Snake." He pointed a gun to Jasmine and shot her leg, making her trip and fall, and lose her grip on Jade.
"You monster!" Jasmine yelled, her eyes a bloody red. The pain was excruciating, and she could barely move her leg.
He grabbed Jade by her hair, pulling her slightly limp body to her feet. In his other hand, a gun, pointed directly at her head. "I'll kill her if you don't stop fighting." Greyheart grinned, revealing his pointy fangs. "Just turn yourself in, and everything will be over. We will let Jade go, unharmed."
Jasmine felt completely useless. Her leg was bleeding profusely, staining her lightly colored jeans. Jade, wake up! Wake up now! Fight him! Crawling to Greyheart, she tried to twist his leg, make him fall somehow, but she was only kicked in the face. Now her nose bled slightly, and her eyes were full of rage. "Snake! Jade!" She yelled, but was only kicked in the face again. "Someone! Help!" Then with one last blow, she was knocked out.
Jade's eyes rolled open, the noises around her booming in her ears. She suddenly felt tension on her scalp, and she realized her hair was being pulled by someone. She turned around to see the barrel of a gun, the hole dark and ominous. Her eyes widened in fear, and she stood completely still. Greyheart. Gun. Then she saw Jasmine on the ground, unconscious and bleeding, then she saw Snake being tackled by other Vampires. "No..." She trailed off, tears coming to her eyes. "Snake, don't." Jade could barely say the words. "Please."
"Be quiet, Jade." Greyheart spat, pressing the gun to her head harder now.
Jade stood completely still, horror and fear striking all her features.

  • Snake froze in horror, tensing as Jasmine was knocked out. It hurt to see his friend and loved one hurt. "Jade..." He murmured, eyes calm as he locked eyes with her. Theyslowly becameight blue and he stopped moving, letting the others take him down. "Promise to leave Jade alone forever." He growled, swallowing hard ashe met Greyhearts eyes calmly. He would do anything to set Jade free, no matter what happened to him. He refrained from hissing as he was brought roughly to his feet, head yanked back cruely. "Jade please...don't go after me." He said calmly, sorrow ripplinf through him. Snake looked down sat Jasmine, feeling awful as he saw her bloodied face and crooked nose.

  • "Right. Let's go." Greyheart released his grip on Jade and pointed the gun at Snake now. Then the group walked at a relatively fast pase back to the Nation.
"No!" Jade took off her gloves and tried to scratch Greyheart's face or any Vampire she could reach, as a distraction. Then, a bullet was fired, missing her foot by a narrow margin. "You missed." She growled, her eyes blazing in anger.
"You think I missed on accident?" Questioned Greyheart, looking back at her for only a moment, his eyes full of glee.
Jade stopped, her claws only slightly bloodied. She probably scratched another individual, not Greyheart. She growled, baring her canines for only a moment. She looked at Snake, sadness overwhelming her eyes. The Werewolf held back her tears, feeling completely useless. Useless. She sat down next to Jasmine, her eyes still lingering on Snake. "Snake..."

  • "Jade, stop. You can't do anything." Snake barked, his voice hoarse as he saw her watering eyes. He forced himself to look away, his cold eyes glaring at Greyheart. He sighed and allowed himself to be take away, ignoting the psin he felt with leaving Jade. He knew the others would take care of her and have to watch her closely. Snake knew he would most likely not be returning, which tore at his dead heart. He walked swiftly, not wanting to hear Jades cries behind him.

  • Jade felt hollow, like there was nothing inside of her. Her emotions vanished and her eyes dulled as she watched Snake being taken away.
"Ouch..." Jasmine woke, a hand on her head. She touched her nose, and swiftly cracked it back into place, the pain minimal compared to the wound on her leg. She treated her leg by simply taking the bullet out and wrapping some excess cloth from her clothes around it tightly. Jasmine looked around, quickly finding Snake being taken away, and Jade's horrifying expression: absolutely nothing. "Jade.." She reached out to touch her shoulder, to maybe make her feel better, but Jade shoved her hand away. "I tried to help. I really did. I'm so terribly sorry." Her gaze remained on the ground, sadness gleaming in her blue eyes.
"We need to help the others." Jade got up to her feet, and walked the same path where other Undesirables ran. Jasmine followed slowly behind.

  • Snake hissed as he was thrown to the ground in front of the General, eyes nrrowed in hatred. He would give nothing away, even if he was tortured to the point of death. He ignored what the General was thinking, instead thinking of Jade and her expression as he was torn away. It had nearly torn him apart, sorrow and pain ripping through hhim. He coughed as a gloved hand hit him in the stomach, but did not speak a single word.

  • "Snake. Long time no see." The sound of footsteps echoed in the pristine room. "Never expected to see you like this. Torn apart, brought here by the hands of other Vampires. It is certainly something. Now then, where's the Werewolf?"
Greyheart responded first, his voice booming and strong. "Snake turned himself in, in exchange for the Werewolf's freedom."
"Such a shame. We never have any Werewolf visitors. You should bring him to the interrogation room. He might be a hard nut to crack. You are dismissed."
The Vampires violently held and shoved Snake as he was led to the room. He was placed on a chair, and many intricate, almost indestructible locks were latched onto him. "Where shall we begin? Oh, maybe what was going through your head when you did all of this?"

  • Ice flooded through Snakes veins as he saw the infamous tortue device. He clenched his jaw shut, refusing to answer even the simplest questions that the General asked. He twitched as he was put into the device, his muscles tensing as he awaited the torture. He could hsndle extreme amounts of pain if needed, thanks to his instructor when he was training.

  • "Let the interrogation process begin." The silhouette of the General hovered around the corner, with only his shiny white teeth visible. He was holding a piece of metal, the end of it glowing a sinister red color. "Who wants to do the honors?"
Greyheart reached out and took the baton, looking back at Snake, an evil glimmer in his red eyes. "An answer?" He asked, grinning.
Jade and Jasmine ran along with the others, Jade's face still completely emotionless. Havoc reeked the battlefield. Some Vampires were still trying to eliminate the Undesirables, trying to prevent future attack and Civil War. Only, it seemed to make matters worse. Many Vampires remained on the ground, either severely wounded or dead. "We need to get everyone to their feet." The Werewolf said, looking around. "We need to recover."
"Sounds like a plan. We need someone to get rid of the Desirables." Jasmine replied, already knowing who will volunteer.
Jade nodded, "I'll howl if I need help." Then she ran off, quickly turning into a wolf. Her bones were still slightly sore, especially after she turned, but the dull pain promptly deteriorated. At this point, she enjoyed being a wolf. She was finally fighting a fight worth fighting for.

  • Snake clenched his jaw, his dark eyes watching GreyHeart with steely resolve. "Have fun trying to break me." He rumbled, scarily calm as he saw the sinister glow of hot metal. He ignored it, instesd thinming of his beloved Jade and knew she was fighting with the Undesirables. The thought gave him energy and resolve to brace against whatever tortue might come his way. He would never break.
