Sela wagged her tail a little before starting towards the Pack onve more, feeling heavier with every step.

Neralki accompanied Sela back to their pack dens; slowly having his blush subside as he walked next to the she-wolf. "Hopefully your father dosent get mad at me for shirking my duty to help you. But I'm more than happy to go out of my way to help you."
-
"He'll be mad sat me, not you." Sels said quietly, fluffing her fur up and taking a deep breath before walking into tyhe camp.
-
Neralki looked at Sela as they entered the camp. "Hey, Im here to help everyone every step of the way; be it you, or a pup, or your father." He said as he noted how some wolves were staring at him
-
Sela kept her head high with difficulty as wolves glared at her, snickering softly. She winced as she heard her Alphas bark, angry and commanding, no sense of worry in it. "Sela!" He barked.
-
Neralki noticed the other wolves snickering and turned to face them: "Off with you! If you have time to stand around dumbly; then use it with your duty and get to it!" He almost shouted; making the other wolves rush back to what they were doing.
-
Sela lowered her tail and head in respect when the Alpha approached, expecting a sharp nip. Instead, she was nuzzled gently. "I was so worried about you. What happened to you?" Her father asked gently, seeig her heakung wounds."I was attacked by a bear. Neralki took care of me." Sela said quietly.
-
Neralki returned from scolding the wolves snickering at Sela and sat down near the two. I should probably leave them alone for a bit He thought as he turned around
-
"Neralki."xThe Alpha said smoothly, knowing it would stop him. "I want to thank you for saving my pup." He rumbled, dipping his head in respect. Sela did the same, her eyes gentle.
-
"It was the right thing to do in a case like that. I'm ready to put my life on the line if it saves another..." Neralki said before padding away to do his duties as Beta of the pack
-
Sela shifted her paws guiltily as her father turned bacj to look at her. "I'll be better." She promised, befors running off to do something.
-
Neralki noticed Sela run off; but he was busy keeping order around the place. "Has the patrol from the canyon reurned?"
-
"Yes. They say that the other Pack is pushing the birders. We must take action soon." The Alpha said calmly, his posture tall and steady.
-
"If they are pushing our borders back; then it is no doubt they are looking to take our land for their own. I suggest a covert scouting party to search the area for evidence of such." Neralki said
-
"I agree. Its good to have you back Nerlki."zThe Alpha saix calmly before loping off to fibd a group to lead the scout trip.
Sela glanced over at her father and Neralji talking, overhearing their conversatoon. "Pleads let me go. I want to prove I'm of some use to this Pack." She said softly as she stepped into hsr fathers way.
-
Neralki nodded before looking at the direction that led to the canyon. "If the other pack is close to the border; then we should set an ambush as soon as possible."
-
"Can I help in the ambush?" Sel asked quietly, standing near her Alpha. The Alpha grew firm for a second, worried aboyt her injuries. "Alright. But be careful." He rumbled, making Sela dip her head in respect and excitement.
-
Neralki looked at the Alpha and said: "Who's leading the ambush?" He looked over at Sela and worried for her safety. "Also, is it okay for your daughter to be participating? She hasn't seen real fighting outside the occasional spar with the warriors."
-
"You will. She'll be fine. I have been teaching her privately." The Alpha rumbled, getting to his paws and turning to go. Sela glanced at Neralki, her ears fkickering.
-
"Very well... I'll rally some of the warriors." Neralki said before padding to Sela. "You sure you can handle this?"
