The prophetess needed to talk to Gabriel. Badly.

  • The little argument Gabriel had with MErle never really passed his thought train after that day. Why would it? Gabriel felt like the other was just an idiot, a moron, someone he didn't need to spend even two moments thinking about. He hated how he treated girls, he hated how arrogant he was, he hated how Reyna saw something in him-- but then again, Gabriel didn't care enough to warn her about the scumbag of a guy. Who was he to barge in, anyways? They looked happy. I mean, they would be until Merle cheated on her, which Gabe was convinced he would.

The male was seated, his back pressed against a cold wall, icy gaze shifting over the individuals that passed.

She had been walking around when she spotted him. She would not deny it- she liked him. But it was so wrong, wasn't it? You'd expect the guy to cheat in this sort of relationship, but the condescending twist would be horribly disgusting. She came up to Gabriel, eyes hooded and placid. "Hey. Haven't talked to you in a while." She might not have looked like she cared at all these past few months that she'd known Gabriel, but she did. She did care.

  • "Well. We're talking now, aren't we?" Gabriel responded, though his tone was surprisingly light. The smile could be heard in his voice, laced through each syllable. "How have you been, Reyna, darling? A couple things have changed in your life, it seems." Huh. That was true enough. His gaze shifted over her pretty features, though did not linger long.

Reyna chuckled, a small bubble of light laughter. She wanted to hate this guy so much, but something about him being a hilariously monstrous sadist made it daunting. The female's eyes would change to a hue that resembled hazel, and looked at him straight in the eye. "It seems that a lot has changed, yes. What about you, Gabriel? Any stories to share?"

  • Gabriel shook his head. "You would expect a guy like me to have plenty, but.. no. Same old, same old." He didn't know how to converse with people, that was one of the joys of being a psycho. After a few minutes of awkward silence, however, he would ask, "...how's Merle? I mean, your relationship with him. I could care less about the guy himself."

"He's.. Fine. Thank you. Though... Nevermind," the medic murmured this last word softly, as if she she was holding something back but hated herself for even thinking it. Also, with the fact that she was expecting Merle's cheetah cubs, it practically made her engaged. Though you never knew what could I wrong, could you? One second it's all fairies and storybooks and then the next everything just comes crashing down like dry sand and stone. She looked up at him now, short compared to the snow leopard. "How about Solanum? How're you two?" She left out the topic on Moriarty since it might be a touchy one.

  • "Fine? That's it?" Gabriel would press, though he didn't look very... I mean, eager for her answer. His face contorted into an expression of genuine concern. He did care, for Reyna, at least, and would gladly beat the shit out of Merle if he did anything to hurt her.

At the mention of Solanum, Gabe would smile and his features would instantly brighten. "We're fantastic. Glorious. Dating, now, actually."

The corners of the serval's mouth perked up into a tiny smile, but oh, would she give anything at all for it to be truly genuine. She was ecstatic, of course, that Gabriel was happy- but was it what she really wanted? But truth be told, it was a little too late for her to mourn over her misdoings now. "That's basically fine. He's quite protective, you know? Well, Gabriel, what do you want me to say?" The wildcat's shoulders had taken a casual, reposeful slump now, as she looked up at this guy she thought she knew.

  • In all honesty, Gabriel did not know the answer to her question. Was there some type of moral code, a set response to her query? Fuck. He hated conversation. Having sex or just commiting a couple homicides was so much simpler. "I... well, I mean, I want you to be happy, I guess. Happier. If he doesn't treat you the way you want to be treated, find someone who will. That's all. I just.. saw the way he treated girls before you two got more involved with one another and have a very strong grasp of the idea that people don't change. If he ever disrespects you..." He trailed off, about to say something awfully repulsive but quickly deciding against it.

You could literally notice the crease in the medic's forehead. Girls, he said. Yeah, she was pretty sure Gabriel'd said that. Pretty sure that was what he said. Well, Reyna had thought she was the first. His first. But now that she heard it from the snow leopard, whom seemed less active in the dating field compared to Merle now. She tilted her head, eyes not focused. Lowering her eyelids momentarily, she have him a truant smile. "Tell me, have you ever dated someone stupid before? I mean, stupid as in.. She didn't know what she was doing? It could be a he, too. Yeah."

  • Gabriel wished he had some idea of what she was getting at, if she was implying something, but he really had no idea so he just offered a tiny smile towards her and a rising and falling of his shoulders. "I haven't dated a ton of people, Reyna. I mean, I've had a couple nights-- you know, nevermind. Point is, if there was anyone in a relationship who was dumb, it probably was coming from my end."
