When my girl was 17, your guy was 20 and was overseas, working in the army A program at my girl's school gave them all pen-pals to soldiers over there. My girl happened to be the one to write to your guy. They ended up growing a friendship, and my girl continued writing to him even after school, and through her first year of college. At one point, your guy came back home for a while, and he drove to her state, meeting up with her. They ended up falling in love. They had sort of been in their letters. He had to go back though, to the army, and my girl was really sad. Though whenever he was on leave again, they would meet up, but he would always have to go back. This happened for two years. She still wrote to him, but eventually the letters got shorter, and the time to respond longer, until she broke the news to him that she had met someone else. They stopped writing. My girl is 20 now, your guy 23, and due to whatever reason, he no longer is in the army, he's home for good. And even though he's still devastated about my girl ending things, he wants to see her, at least catch up. But when he gets there, she's engaged to someone else, the wedding actually coming up fast, despite her age. When my girl sees your guy again, will the feelings that never went away get in the way of the wedding?

Basically - once someone posts w/ a pic of their character or whatever, I'll start up a first post. I'd like someone semi-advanced, not too long of responses. AND WHO IS ACTIVE. I'm tired of waiting 2+ days for a post. FAVORITE THIS. Idk what you do let's just not leave me hanging. Thx ily bye.

Btw, what do you call semi-advanced? Because the lowest I can handle when I'm on low muse for semi-advanced is 2+ sentences.

kk sorry it took so long!

Lydia had been extremely busy all day. Phone calls to the caterer, to the person taking in her dress, to the flower shop bringing in flowers...everything needed be arranged still and it was frustrating the heck out of the young woman. Her fiance, Simon, had been extremely helpful with everything. She just wished he was around more. His stupid job kept him at the office in meetings all the time. Lydia was glad she didn't have a crazy job like that. She had one more year of college left. The job she currently held was waitressing at an italian restaurant.

She was just getting off work then, slinging her back over her shoulder as she took all of her tips, and headed out of the restaurant. She was really feeling a nice long hot bubble bath to relax at home. Then she'd cuddle up on the couch - alone, because Simon was on a trip for a few days. She headed in the direction of the bus stop, because she didn't have her own car. She sat there, sighing and waiting for the bus..

  • |Sorry, it might take me a bit long to reply sometimes! My spring break finished and I'm planning to work extra hard in school, which means longer time helping my brother out with his homework, and more time on my homework.|

Walking down the street without paying much attention to anything ahead of him, Eren headed for a crossing light, where he was headed towards his place. As he walked, Eren looked from side to side, observing all the stores and trying to think up something he could possibly do in place of his military job. He hadn't come up with anything yet, and was hoping to get a job soon. Seeing that a bus stop was up ahead, Eren decided to save his energy from walking and take the bus instead. He walked to the bus stop, where there was a seat to sit on while waiting for the bus. Since he didn't pay much attention to the people, he just sat on the bench, not bothering to start up conversation with the others.

    |Sorry, this isn't my best work ever. :P|

    [[It's okay!!]]

Lydia had been looking down at her phone, but she glanced over when someone sat down on the bench. She kind of just stared, blinking her eyes a few times to make sure she wasn't seeing things. It was definitely Eren, no doubt about it. She scooted over on the bench, sitting right next to him. "E-eren?" she asked quietly, "Is that you?" he looked so much different, so much older...much more handsome even then she last remembered. How long had it been since she'd seen him? She felt an overwhelming sensation of guilt, for ending things the way she had.

  • Hearing a female voice speaking to him, Eren shifted his eyes to the woman for a quick second before looking back. Then, realizing that it was Lydia, Eren widened his eyes and turned his head to her. "Lydia!" he said in a bit of shock, but mostly joy. "What a coincidence! I was thinking of visiting you this week." Eren smiled widely at her, keeping the millions of questions he had for her in his mind.

Lydia brightened up, seeing as she was right, and it was him. "Really?" she asked. She was surprised that he seemed...happy to see her. After all, she probably broke his heart. She broke her own having to do what she did. "Wow, well are you doing anything now? You could come over and visit,"she suggested. "It's been so long...how have you been?" she asked, wanting to give him a hug or something, but maybe that wasn't the best idea right now.

  • "I retired from the army, so I came back here." Eren told Lydia, trying to keep a smile on his face. Inside, he really want to hug her, but he thought that she'd feel awkward if he did. He'd missed Lydia ever since she had 'ended things' with him, and honestly, his shattered heart had never mended. Even now, just seeing her and knowing that Eren couldn't have her for himself made him feel even worse. Spending time with someone you loved and not being able to kiss her and hug her and tell her that you love her was something unbearable for him. But throughout it all, Eren tried to keep a fake smile on his face.

"Wow so you're done? You're home?" Lydia asked. Wow...if only she had waited...she shook her head at that thought. She was happy with Simon. She made her choice, there was no going back. And Eren probably had a beautiful new girl in his life. He could be happy too. "But yeah do you want to stop by or are you busy? I was just going to relax. It's been a long day," she blew strands of hair out of her face.

  • "Yeah. I'm done with the army, so I'm not really that busy." Eren replied, scratching his head a bit. "Other than needing to find a job soon, I'm not that busy." Sighing, Eren looked at Lydia with a very serious look in his eyes. He wanted to ask her about Simon, so he didn't want to seem enthusiastic or too angry. "What happened to that guy you were dating? Did you dump him yet?" Eren asked, sounding a bit annoyed. It was expected of him to not like Simon, right?

  • [fancypost borderwidth=0pt; font-size: 11px; font-family: verdana; text-align: justify; width: 350px; color: black;]

"Wow that's great then. Well, ask the army to give you a job. They're always really good with helping veterans find something after combat," Lydia suggested, glancing down the street, seeing that the bus was coming down the road. "Um...no," she covered her left hand with her right, hiding the ring. She didn't want to tell him that just yet. He might run away or something, and she wanted to talk to him still. "We're still together," she stood up as the bus stopped, opening up the doors. A few other people starting getting on, and she went over. "Come on, I'll make you coffee or tea or hot chocolate or something back home," she said.

  • Eren heaved out an annoyed sigh when he was told that Lydia and Simon were still together. He then smiled when Lydia offered him hot tea or hot chocolate back at her house. "Alright. Sure." he replied, getting up a bit slowly and following her onto the bus. He placed his hands in his pockets, even though, for his family, it was considered bad manners to place your hands inside your pockets. Eren still wanted to ask Lydia a few questions, but he decided that it would be best not to shower her with questions, especially if there's a chance something traumatic happened to her and she didn't wish to speak about it.

Lydia gave him a smile back, glad he agreed to come with her. She walked on the bus and found two available seats, sliding into the window, leaving the spot next to her for him. "No one's home tonight. I get scared sometimes when I'm alone," she said with a small laugh. "So this is actually good you're coming over for a little," she nodded and leaned back against the seat. "When did you get let off the army? Like how long ago?" she asked curiously, keeping her hands in her lap, on top of her back.
