She made a large snowflake appear in hand, "That's all I wanted to hear." She said softly. The snow flake turned black and turned smaller, she put it on her necklace, "Another goal added."

"I'll tell you that the last six beast tamers who tried to conquer a dragon lost their minds after crossing mine" Lance said

"Don't compare me to them!" She exclaimed, "Your just like mom and dad, they always compare me to Andre or other kids.." She started to walk away.

"I'm only warning you of what will come to pass if you fail" Lance said "Good luck my sweet little niece, you'll need it as i won't go easy on you"

"I don't need easy.... If you did it then its possible." She said as she walked away, Silas and the others staying where they are.

"I've also faced the being known as Abyss and survived, which has never happened before or since" Lance said "And he's been around since before existence, don't compare yourself with me, we may share blood through my twin, but i'm an ancient immortal monster who has the power to kill divines, and you are an 8 year old half human with super natural abilities"

She kept walking, "I'll surprise you." She said as she jumped into a tree.

His eyes glazing over Lance said "No, you won't" in a sad tone

She jumped over into the other trees, Fear following with Silas on his back.

Lance sighed and headed back to camp

She went as far as she could to the point large animals caught on to her scent and started following.
Fear and Silas caught up beside her, "hey Aspen, let's be careful!' Silas shouted.

Lance wondered how he could persuade Aspen to give up on taming a dragon

She stopped and looked around, "shhh... Do you hear that?" She asked as she make an ice staff.
Silas and Fear stopped as well and looked around. Fear growled, Aspen... Don't do this.. fear told her.

Lance went to find Andre and ask his opinion

Andre was in his tree, cooking something for him and Icicle. He chopped up some field green mice he found for her and put it in a pot.

"Andre, i need a way to convince your sister to give up on a task" Lance said "Her life is on the line"

He kept cooking as Icicle slithered onto his arm, "Nothing is gonna change her mind. She is as stubborn as our mother."

"Nothing?" Lance asked "No bribe i could offer to get her to change her mind?"
