*Rico smiled, then grabbed a leaf and threw it at her.* "Got'cha!"

She squealed in happiness then froze, staring behind him

*Rico stared.* 'There's something behind me, isn't there?"

"T-tiger..." She whispered

*He shook as he looked behind him to see an enormous tiger, right behind him.* "W-what do I do?"

"I-i don't know..." She whispered, then screamed as it jumped at her

*Rico acted on instinct. He tackled the tiger to the ground by throwing himself off his crutches right at the thing.* "Run!"

"What about you?!" She screamed at him, tears in her eyes

*Rico was already pinned by the angry tiger, who was about to maul him to pieces.* "Just leave me!"

She burst into tears but kept running

*The sounds of struggling followed her, followed by a scream.*

She hid in a tree and cried

*The noise eventually stopped, and the tiger, now with a bloody mouth, Walked past her hiding spot and into the jungle.*

She quickly got up and ran back, but she froze.

*Rico was there. He looked like a bloody mess, covered in cuts and bruises, his clothes torn and bloody.*

She leapt up and grabbed his arm

*Rico turned his head and smiled.* "Hey...."

"Is anything missing?" She asked with tears in her eyes

*Rico looked himself over.* "No, but i,m hurting a lot."
