A pitiful mew echoed through the area as Ashkit wandered. She was lost, alone hungry, and scared. It had been half a moon since she had lost her mother, but she was beginning to have hope. She was sure she smelled cats in the area.

alice had been, y'know, chilling, exploring, being a lunatic, the kind of stuff she did all the time, when she came across ashkit. immediately, a gasp of "d'aaww," escaped her lips, before being replaced with worry. "are you okay? where's your mother? are you hurt? how come you're on shadowclan territory?"[/fancypost][/fancypost][/fancypost]

"I... I..." The kit mewed, lost for words. She wasn't used to cats coming up and talking to her like this. "I need help. I don't know where my mother is. I lost her when the dogs attacked."
-
Bump!
-

The Tortoiseshell tom padded over, scenting a kit not from his territory. Heading over his gaze drifted down to Ashkit. A harsh scowl was resting across his muzzle...which was soon replaced with a small grin."Are you ok, little one?"

"[color=gray]When was the last time you saw her?" Aria spoke quietly as she padded closer to the group, the femme's azure optics blinking towards the young kitten.
Not that Aria felt bitterness, but the wolf pup felt nostalgia flow through her whenever she saw a poor kitten or pup without their parents. At least, in this case, the young kitten's mother cared about her.[/fancypost]

"I'm fine, I just-" Askit started, but cut off when she saw the wolf. She trembled, all her fur standing on end, then sprinted for the bushes, cowing there and refusing to come out.
(OOC: Sorry about this, I have to leave for a few days and I probably won't get any internet where I'm going, so I'm trying to set up all my characters so that it's reasonable that they don't respond.) -
(OOC: Hi! I'm back and bumping the thread!)
Ashkit, seeing the wolf wasn't chasing her, peeked out from her hiding spot, then slowly padded out.
"I last saw her when those dogs attacked, but that was days ago. And I've run really far away, I don't even know where that was anymore." -
(OOC: Bump again...)
'So, are all of you cats from a clan?" Ashkit asked. She had never known any cats that weren't from a clan, so it made sense to her to assume that they were.
"Are you camped in a nice spot? Can I see where it is?"

"How do you know about the clans" he flattened his body to the grass, lowering his ears as his nose twitched staring at the other.
-
"I was in a clan." Ashkit said, backing off slightly, "And then there was one night where everyone was yelling at each other, and then my mother and father came halfway through and took me away. I haven't seen them since."
Her fear had made her say more than she wanted to.
