He watched some water horses swimming far out at sea

She smiled

" if your sure about entering the race, the sign up is at the pub but it ends at the end of the week." Sean muttered without looking at her

She nodded." I know."

" fair warning. You could lose your horse or your life. During the race, they go sea-mad and most go back to the sea, drowning their riders and others start fighting each other, killing themselves and their riders." He said

"Yeah well, I'm stupid and trust that my horse won't do that." She mumbled

" that is stupid. Water horses are like lions. You can't turn your backs on them and you can never trust them." He said

She sighed and looked away, staring up at the sky

" but then, that must mean I'm a total idiot, spending my whole life revolved around them." He said

He left the cove, going to go find Matt and Corr

He arrived in time to see Corr throw Matt and ran over to go calm him
