A trio of kittens had weaved their way through the forest. Two Shadow kittens and one Star kit. Needless to say, they made quite a group.

"Have you found anything we can hunt yet, Mercury?" One of the shadow kittens mewed. The starry tom, Mercury, shook his head. "No, but... I think you guys want to see this..."

Agent and Lurid, the pair of Shadows, poked their heads out through the undergrowth. Hidden in a valley, there was a gray, ruined castle, long since abandoned by any twolegs that might have once lived there.

Ic:up on the highest standing tower there were two figures blending into the stone that made up the castle. They sat unmoving and unnoticed. Even if you looked carefully you wouldn't be able to see them.

Agent blinked, and her gaze travelled to the odd twoleg structure. "What is it?" She wondered, to ask the obvious question. "I mean, it's obviously a twoleg den of... some sort... but why is it so big?"

Lurid chuckled, and wandered towards the old stone castle. "Who cares, Agent? Let's just go check it out. We can't just turn a blind eye on it now that we've found it."

The starry tom kit lead the two Shadows towards the castle. The front door had long since toppled over, leaving a gapping hole where the entrance should've been. "Hello?" Mercury poked his head inside and called, his voice echoing throughout the building.

[justify]Hearing voices, Crackedkit wandered forth, her energy renewed from her quick catnap. Kinked tail twitching eagerly, the seal point picked her way out of the woods and spotted the massive stone castle before her. It was ominous against the glowing moon, like a huge creature waiting to eat her. Strangely, Crackedkit assumed everything wanted to eat her. Like those Groomers. Narrowing her eyes skeptically, she sauntered in through the massive doors with a bravado of strength, though as soon as she looked inside the massive castle she pressed a bit closer to the floor and stared in frightened awe.

Well, so much for bravery.

Hearing no answer, the starry tom kit took a cautious step into the castle. The best way to describe it would be, well, ruined. Fallen stone blocks were scattered across the ground. A dull, torn red carpet slunk further into the castle. Formerly beautiful windows were now broken glass shards on the ground. "I ask again: Do either of you guys know what the heck this place is?" Agent asked, red eyes wide.

Ic:angel peered around the tapestry. She was floating a five cat lengths above the ground. The doctor was just two cat lengths above her but he didn't peer around from the tapestry. Instead he used his mind to locate the other cats and used his powers to determine what they were going to do next. So if any of them were to look over to the tapestry he would have known by five seconds and would have pulled angel back into hiding.

Indigo had been off running around on her own when voices reached her ears. Her red eyes wandered over to the huge twoleg nest that even she hadn't dared go into. The she-kit walked with caution but purpose and found the enormous door that some other kits were going into. "Hey, what's up?" she asked from behind them while possibly scaring the hell out of them.

Mercury stumbled back in honest surprise when he heard a voice. Another shadow kitten, just like Lurid and Agent. Now that the starry tom was pretty much surrounded by Shadows, well... this was awkward. "Oh, hi!" The Star kitten mewed, trying to regain his composure.
