He frowned and shook his head, doing all he could to not punch the wall. He sighed and lied on the couch, burying his face in a pillow.

Allen got completely dressed and put on headphones, continuing to sing. He walked out of his room, singing deeply and smoothly at the top of his lungs.
-
He looked over from the pillow and shook his head, "you're really loud when you sing, you know that?"
-
"What?" He said, pulling off his headphones. "Oh. Love you too." He said, sarcastically. He headed outside, sighing. He put his headphones back on, not saying exactly where he was going.
-
"Allen, wait!" He stumbled to his feet and opened the door, "Hey, where are you going?! Allen, where are you going??"
-
Allen couldn't hear him but he waved. He continued to go, whistling. He headed into the farmer's market. He chatted joyously with old ladies.
-
Alfred groaned and tried to go after him, but he soon lost Allen around the twisted roads. He sighed and heard someone behind him. He turned, thinking it was Allen, but he was met with a fist to the face. He stumbled and fell back, and Matt struck again and again, beating Alfred to the ground until he could barely move. He then spat on Alfred and chuckled, "You idiot. You think you could really get my brother to grow so soft? You don't deserve him. Hopefully he won't find you." He turned and walked off, making sure no one saw him leave.
-
Allen hummed, lugging a watermelon in his arms, smiling. He turned down several turns, seeing Matt pass him. "Matt." He hissed. He saw Alfred soon after. "Oh my god!" He set down the water meleon, darting to his side.
-
Matt hissed under his breath and took off on a full sprint, not bothering to look back. Alfred groaned and tried to move but even the smallest movement felt like he was getting hit all over again. He could just barely groan, it sounded like he was trying to say Allen's name, but it wasn't very loud.
-
Allen started to cry, kissing Alfred's forehead. He mentally panicked. "Umm.. Groan twice if you think you need to go to the hospital." Allen said, throwing his headphones aside.
-
He did as told, hos mouth was pretty much the only thing he could move that didn't hurt him. Blood trickled from multiple cuts, and pretty much every part of his skin visible was starting to bruise.
-
He called the ambulance, wanting to hold Alfred but afraid of hurting him.
-
He groaned softly and whimpered, trying to reach out to Allen. "Al...len..." he whimpered out, blood dribbling from the corner of his mouth.
-
"Just hold on, Babe. They'll be here soon enough." Allen said, holding his hand. The siren could be heard a mile away. People rushed into the alleyway, pushing Alfred onto a stretcher and Allen into the car.
-
He whimpered when he was taken away from Allen, but before he could say anything else he blacked out, not waking until the next morning in the hospital room. He was bruised all over his body, he had four broken ribs and his left leg had been broken. His nose was broken as well, he was all over in terrible shape.
-
Allen was sitting in the chair next to him, holding his hand. "Your awake!" He cried, hugging his hand. He coughed, straightening up. "Who did this to you?" He asked, kissing his forehead.
-
He sighed and flinched a little, coughing and managing to sit up on his own. He held onto Allen's hand and coughed a little, "it was Matt...he got me from behind, i-i didn't stand a chance..."
-
Allen grew furious. He called Matt, pacing around. "MATT!? GET YOUR A** UP TO THE HOSPITAL." He screamed into the phone.
-
Alfred flinched and looked away, looking down at his now casted leg and sighed, knowing this was his fault. Matt hadn't answered, he had known that Allen was mad, so he left well enough alone and didn't even touch his phone.
-
Allen sighed, sitting down and grabbing his hand again.
