Was now a good time? Should she return? Would she be welcome?
Autumnalpaw had left shortly after her fathers disappearance to look for him, but found nothing. Sheepherder was gone, as far as she knew. But home called, and she could search no longer. She wanted to see her mother again, and her younger half sister, Paperpaw. What about Citypaw? How was he? She loved her kin, though was disappointed at her return. She knew some of the response to her return would be negative, it had been every time she'd seen someone else try to return. Archipelagoislands, after all, hadn't been able to come back. Not that she'd wanted to, but most still hated her. And even though she'd had ever intention of returning when she'd left, Autumnalpaw knew they would suspect her of treason. And she didn't even have any news of her father to comfort her mother with. Standing at the border, Autumnalpaw gritted her teeth and waited for someone to come and get her. Ask her who she was, and that her business was and she had a smart reply at the ready for one silly questions. Well, maybe they weren't silly if the cat was a stranger, but they felt cold and unwelcoming, and Autumnalpaw didn't want that sort of reaction.

Bulletinboard pretty much worried ceaselessly that she'd leave camp and return some time later, only to learn that someone had harmed themselves because she wasn't around to talk them out of it. Was assuming such responsibility for every troubled soul vain? Probably. Would she be changing any time soon? Probably not. Worry was something sewn on her spirit, and it was hard - some would say impossible - to take such stitches out.

But she needed space, she needed some air away from camp, and so, after a few days, the bi-colored she-cat had gave in to the impulse and escaped, stretching out her legs with guilty bliss as she trotted through the forest. A certain scent caught her attention, and, golden eyes narrowing slightly, Bulletinboard made her way over, pausing warily when the other female came into view. She didn't recognize her, but that wasn't saying much; there were many RiverClanners, after all.

"Hello," the counselor greeted, pleasantly enough. "My name's Bulletinboard. Who are you, and what brings you to RiverClan?"[/fancypost][/fancypost][fancypost borderwidth=0pt; background:url(http://i.imgur.com/4shk05x.png); width: 420px; height: 13pt; margin-top: -8pt;][/fancypost]@ ARUKIN

Autumnalpaw blinked at the warrior in greeting, dipping her head. It was a friendlier greeting than she expected, she vaguely recognized this cat. Was she not Spiderkits' mother? "My name is Autumnalpaw. I used to live here, but left a few moons ago to find my father." Shaking her head she meowed, "I couldn't find him, so I've come back home to see the rest of my family." And she could possibly complete her training and become the warrior she had always wanted to be. "My mother, is Candlelight alright?" Autumnalpaw looked up hopefully at Bulletinboard, looking for news of her kin.
