It wasn't too hard to find his shyer brother. Condorpaw expected him to be in the medicine cat's den, and that is exactly where he was. It was still a surprising thought to think that his brother was going to be a medicine cat. Condorpaw would have always thought that with all the adventuring he went on, that Larkpaw would want to become a warrior. He was wrong.

Maybe the Cavallone should have paid more attention to his younger, both of them, since Starclan knows what Birchpaw was up to. Maybe he would have seen this coming. It was such an honor. As for him? Condorpaw was perfectly fine being just a warrior. Actually, he wanted to be just a warrior. It fit him the best.

Still, Condorpaw couldn't help but think that he hadn't spent as much time with him as when they were kit's, and he wanted to mend that bond; Keep it to be a healthy brother to brother friendship that he wanted. He made sure to ask his mentor for the afternoon off to go do something with the Medicine apprentice.

The tortie trotted into the enclosed space, searching the darkness for his dark body. Once his amber eyes laid across his small body he was sure it was Larkpaw. "Hey, Larkky, do you wanna take a break, an' yunno, like take a walk with me?"

  • Larkpaw hadn't ever expected to take the path of a medicine cat. He'd always been a devout StarClan believer, but never had he expected to be so spiritually connected to them as a part of his everyday life. He had also assumed he'd follow in his parent's footsteps, learning how to become a seasoned warrior alongside his two brothers, Condorpaw and Birchpaw. Never had he been so wrong, however; he'd been chosen by Saffronspice and Moxieflame (whom had both been demoted within the past couple moons) to train as a clan doctor. He knew quite a lot now and was learning more every day, little by little. Larkpaw had always been a slow learner, so it was a relief that his mentors had been so kind and patient with him and his learning.

Larkpaw heard the pitter-patter of heavy footsteps and lifted himself from his nest with sleepy eyes blinking at the dawn light seeping in through the entrance. "Condor?" The taciturn tomcat mewed to the tortoiseshell male whom had entered the medicine cat's den, his crystalline eyes catching sight of his brother's honey-golden gaze. A little smile managed to make its way onto the tomcat's jaws; it was so great to see his littermate again. Unfortunately due to taking entirely different career pathways, the two saw each other only when time and circumstances allowed them to. It was nice to see the face of a familiar Cavallone.

The older definitely felt uncomfortable being in here, even if was just to talk to his brother. Condorpaw wasn't the type of cat to get hurt and instantly come to the medicine den for help, he wanted to heal on his own. Never the less, this wasn't for healing or for counseling, the tom wanted to spend some time with his younger.

The tom's amber eyes flickered around the den uncertainly when Larkpaw called his name. Ah geez, I woke him.. The usual cocky tom, was actually quite nervous and shy, gosh when did he become such a wimp. "Uh, do you have time for, like a break?"
