» “Forgive me Father, for I have sinned.” His words were spoken in a hushed tone - not out of embarrassment, simply out of respect. “What have you done, my boy?” the man on the other side spoke just as low, his voice smooth and comforting, hints of compassion and forgiveness already laced into his melodic tone. “I’ve killed, Father.” his eyes focused on the blood stained fingers that curled into the brim of his jacket, fingers toying with the rough wool. “You’ve…” his voice hitched, the man cleared his throat and tried to fight the sense of worry that flooded him. “Yes, I’ve killed.” there wasn’t so much as a pang of emotion in his own voice - he was truly empty. “And I’ll kill again, Father.” he admitted, standing to pull the door open.
Northern California was plagued with a cold hearted killer - one that targeted young, beautiful, innocent women. The townsfolk pleaded to the killer - but still, each month another girl went missing. The girls all had a few things in common - pale eyes, pale skin, dark hair, slender and small. Women have plumped up, cut their hair short, tried to darken their skin and even shaved their heads completely in attempts to hide away from the viscous man.
The killer wasn’t greedy, he didn’t simply slit the throats of the wandering whores of the wayward travelers, he didn’t rack up a body count within a week. It was one per month, no more and no less - they always found the girls in bodies of water too, wrapped in cloth. They’d been put into beautiful dresses, washed and often frozen. There were no killings in the summer months - he wanted the girls preserved, not rotten.
The city, despite it’s best efforts, is still under attacks years later. Ten girls so far, five a year, one during each of the coldest months. It’s rounding the end of October and the women are fearing for their lives; parents for their daughters, knowing that his killings start late November. Few residents continue their day to day, hoping maybe the killer has moved on, that he’s never to return - they don’t want to live in fear of what may be. Unbeknownst to him, he's killed far more than discovered, and he's planning something big.

Plot
The city of San Jose, San Francisco, and numerous other northern California cities have been subdued by one, single killer. As far as investigators are concerned, the killer is on a personal vendetta against a girl that hurt him in the past, hence his strict killing of only women with pale skin and dark hair. The general public, believing this, has gone to numerous measures to be the opposite of his preferences. What they have failed to recognise is that the killer kills for his own reasons, and they simply just haven't found the countless other victims that he has killed; men, women, children, and elderly alike. Those who have lost loved ones and are getting no recognition have taken it upon themselves to investigate. From foolish teenagers with cameras to journalist and news teams, citizens are beginning to become restless for answers and are risking their lives to find the identity of this killer, or at least figure out his motives and to prove that he is killing more than beautiful girls.
There is only one person who knows and, to some extent, trusts the killer; his eighteen year old, younger sister. Unlike him, she is moralistic and knows right from wrong. However, she loves her brother deeply, and fears that divulging him as the killer will bring her harm; he may love her, but if she were to betray him, she does not doubt he would kill her. As a beautiful female, she has jealous enemies and relentless admirers. All who have bullied, harmed, assaulted, or offended his sister have wound up missing, and even the good little sister can't help but be a little thankful. However, as she begins to feel responsible for these crimes, how much longer will she vouch for her brother's 'innocence?'
