    Avril had been out and sabout when she had smelt Bloodclanner. She had decided to go and investigate in her cougar form, padding up behind a limping figure that was also in the form of a cougar. "Name and buisness in ShadowClan" she chirped, happy as ever. The ruddy brown cougar sat down at smiled. He looked nice enough from behind, anyways.

    Avril was solely confused, but shrugged it off. "Akright," she meowed lightly, craning her neck to see if something was wrong. He looked like he was in pain, and so Avril asked him. "Are you alright?" She asked gently, tilting her head to the side. "Hi, Deathpaw. I'm Avril" she meowed, smiling.

"When I was in my bat body I twisted my wing and it hurt really bad," she offered, although it probably didn't compare. Avril walked beside him at his offer and smiled back at him.     "Yeah," she meowed, noticing his wince and looking down to his paw. "Oh, jeez!" She exclaimed, stopping short and holding his paw in hers. "Do you think you maybe need some cobwebs or something?" She asked, looking around. They were still a ways away from camp, and were surrounded by them because they were in the swamp. "I can try and wrap it up if you'd like," she meowed, willing to try at least. She had seen the medicine cats before, and so she thought that she might give it a try on him.

    Avril smiled and nodded, rushing off to get some moss and cobwebs. She sat there and poorly dabbed at his paw with the moss, eventually leaning back to look at the poorly wrapped paw. She turned hot under the pelt and blushed. "Sorry, I've never actually wrapped somebodies paw" she meowed, shuffling uncomfortably. She offered an embarrased smile and met his eyes for a second.

    "Oh, well thank you" she blushed, smiling at him. Avril was in fact not a Medicine Cat Apprentice, but yearned to be. She looked up and saw ShadowClan in the distance. "We're almost there," she smiled, nudging him gently with a paw to point at camp.

    deathpaw smiled, grimaced and limped along he took short breaths and to distract him from the pain he decided to talk,"so you want to be a medicine cat?" He asked with a small smile as he limped.

    "Yeah," she smiled, blushing under her thick pelt. "I know it's far-fetched I just...." she sighed and shook her head, smiling. "It's unrealistic. My mother is the Deputy. I need to live up to her," she finished, offering a flicker of smile towards her.

    deathpaw nodded and continued his steady limp, "ah expectations then. well I would encourage you to go for what you want." he said he could hear his mom saying something snarky like,'thanks doctor phil.' or something like that.

    "Thanks," she meowed gently, smiling at him. It was nice to know that there were people that actually believed in going for what you want to in life.
