    The Clan:

  • Mintstar opened her eyes to a sudden bright light. Her eyes adjusted to the early morning light as she got up to stretch out her muscles. She began to pad outside when she noticed a familiar scent near the camp. Her brother must be hunting nearby.

Raven was hunting nearby. He had been on his own for two moons now. He scented the clan camp and followed a different trail away from there. He had witnessed his parents death in the great battle and couldn't bare to sleep in the warrior den with the scent of them in there.

  • Tawnypaw yawned as she fluttered her eyes open slowly she looked at the mouth of the Apprentice Den and saw the bright morning light. She groaned and stretched not wanting to wake up yet she was excited to start her training. Slowly she padded out of the den and saw Mintstar walk out of her own den, she looked at Mintstar and sat near the Apprentice Den.

  • Tigerstorm got up and stalked over to the clearing. He was new to the clan and prefered to be alone then surronded by others. He sat in the clearing with his fur on end and lost in thought with a scowl on his face.

Shadowpaw woke up and yawned and stretched. He looked over at his older brother and sighed and pondered on when he would open up. He got rid of the thought and spotted Tawnypaw. "Hello." He said sitting net to her.

  • Tawnypaw smiled " Hello to you to, had a good night ?" she asked Shadowpaw. Then she spotted Tigerstorm and looked at him curiously Sometimes her curiosity lead her to ask questions but this time she stayed quiet see that Tigerstorm wasn't in the mood for her questions.

  • Tigerstorm looked over at Tawnypaw and his face was blank. He then just scoffed and looked off somewhere else.

Shadowpaw looked at Tigerstorm then sighed and shook his head. He then looked at Tawnypaw and smiled. "My night was fine." He said then added, "Yours?" He asked.

  • Tawnypaw said" It was ok." she stayed looking at Tigerstorm with confusion and wonder " How's your brother he looks a little down?" She then turned to Shadowpaw and smiled her leaf green eyes filled with even more curiosity then before.

  • Shadowpaw blushed in embarassment then looked down at his paws then looked back up. "I don't know." He said then added, "I don't wanna ask or he would yell at me." He said putting his ears down.

  • Tawnypaw regretted asking and touched his shoulder with her black nose "I'm sorry, you don't need to worry about it" then she blushed and pulled back her nose and smiled shyly.

  • Mintstar looked over at the two apprentices. "Can you remind your mentors that the black loner out there is not to be harmed?" She asked.

Raven looked at his prey. He had caught himself a robin and a thrush. He began to head back to his den he had made for himself. The small cave was perfect for him. He remembered the scent of the previous owner a sweet yet sharp scent. He had only had gotten a glimpse of the female that had lived here. He had a crush on her.

  • Shadowpaw nodded to Mintstar then blushed than smiled back than padded over to the fresh kill pile and grabbed a rabbit then padded back and looked at the rabbit then at Tawnypaw. "Want to share this with me?" He asked shyly.

  • Tawnypaw blushed with embarrassment and said "of course Mintstar" then padded over to Shadowpaw and said "Ok but we have to make sure our mentors know." Tawnypaw wondered what was so special about the black loner.

  • Tawnypaw smiled at took a couple of bites too. Then looked around to see if her mentors up she sighed thinking he must be sleeping late. Then she remembered that ever since Mintstar came up to them she hasn't seen Tigerstorm but she shook her forgetting him and looked at Shadowpaw smiling happily "Thanks Shadowpaw."

  • Hollykit woke up with a yawn. She opened her eyes and stood up.

Crowkit pricked his ears. He opened an eye and watched his sister.

  • Tawnypaw saw Hawkpaw and wonder filled her were is she going she thought. She looked at Shadowpaw and shook her head. Then got up to check again if Silverheart was awake, she looked into the Warrior den and saw him sleeping. She stepped back and padded back to where Shadowpaw was sitting she laid down next to him and stared into the forest lost in thought.

  • Shadowpaw finished cleaning his pelt then looked at Tawnypaw and blushed but tried to hide it then looked for his mentor.

Tigerstorm left and came back soon with something weird in his mouth. He then went underneath a tree and set it down and just stared at it.

  • Tawnypaw thought of where Hawkpaw was going and why is every one still asleep. Tempted to follow Hawkpaw, Tawnypaw stayed put hoping something exciting would happen or at least something that would get her out of camp.

  • Hawkpaw run along the rabbit trails for a while but tripped on a root of a tree and fell. She lifted her head, stopping herself from getting a faceplant but she couldn't 't protect her neck. She hit the ground and gaged , coughing up some dirt. The ground had choked her a moment once she fell and it would leave a bruise. Her neck for was all dirty now but it was better than a sprained paw and a moon or so of no training. She got up, wincing. She shook her fur, throwing off some dust. Then she padded back along the trail. She wanted to keep out in the territory- not at camp. But she wasn't sure what to do next. Her paws itched to do something. She heard a splash and perked her ears, fish! She went towards the sound and saw a creek. In it were small fish. She spotted some large minnows and swiped her tounge over her jaws. She padded to the edge and crouched down. Let the fishing begin.
