    Fey hid her face in his neck, letting out a shaking breath as she sat there.

    Fey reached out and took the baby, holding her close, "Sh, Dakota." She whispered, leaning against Daniel gently and closing her eyes, "Hush.... Don't cry my baby..." Ash watched silently, the hatchlings resting against his legs, sleeping.

    Fey continued to hold Dakota, murmuring to the child and kissing her forehead as she held her close. The mother seemed shaken as she sat there, leaning against Davis and holding their little girl.

    The footsteps got closer and a roar filled the area. Even Ash seemed frightened as Fey held Dakota close.

    Fey took in a breath just as a huge eye peered into the window, the pupil dual aging before it roared and shook the house, "Dad?" Ash whimpered worriedly.
