  • Jade stepped into the room where the supposed party was supposed to be. Her friend, Vanessa, had told her that the P.I.G.S. was going to be held here, so Jade decided to see for herself. She had her favorite hoodie on, the white one with icy blue vine-like designs twisting around it. Upon entering, she saw a mass of students, most older than her. The air was heavy with the smell of firewhiskey.

She slowly made her way to a table and found unopened bottles of firewhiskey. She grabbed a bottle, popped off the cap, and took a tiny sip. She nearly coughed it all up, along with her lunch, but she swallowed and clenched her jaw as the burning liquid slid down her throat. As she exhaled through her nose in a sigh of relief that she hadn't died after the swig, she spotted a small table and sat the bottle down. I can just leave that here and not come back for it. Maybe some lucky fellow will pick it up and be able to enjoy it more than I can! She thought as she slinked away to a corner.

She sat in the shadows and pulled a chocolate frog box from her pocket. What do you know, looks like I didn't eat this one! She opened the box and the enchanted candy leapt away, towards... Who is that? she wondered until he turned around a moment later. His pale face and height gave it away almost instantly: Callum. Well, I had better not go after my last frog like I normally would, or else... Well, I might end up in an awkward position at Cal's feet, and who KNOWS what rumors he'd spread THEN! she thought glumly, and she leaned back against the wall and closed her eyes. All the studying was really making her eyes tired. Perhaps I'll just take a little nap for a few minutes...

SNAP! Jade's eyes whipped open and she jumped, stumbling to her feet at the sudden sound. Soon she found the noise's origin: Someone had set off a Muggle Firecracker! Jade snickered a bit as she imagined how the student had stolen THAT trinket...

  • Lily nodded slightly. 'Sure' she said to Ellis abou this question about her toutering him. She took a swig of fire whisky the shrp taste going through her body.James sighed and sat down since he coundt find his friends. They all were probably at the prty. James had been invited but had turned down the request before telling Lily not to go

  • Cal allowed his fanged smirk fade to a more natural pose. It would do nothing, after all to unnerve anyone at the time would be a waste of his time-- a set back, even. Although Ellis insisted upon calling each other by their first names, Cal guess that the title he had dubbed him only moments ago secretly pleased the layed-back Gryffindor. "Are we? Well, I suppose I don't see why not, Ellis, seeing as I am at your party." His smile spread to an easy grin, almost lazy in comparison to those previously expressed, in responce to Ellis' question. "I'm afraid you have disappointed no one. It would seem your name will remain fairly clear for the time being," he replied lightly. "I've found your party quite enjoyable. Although, I would ask how long it took you to prepare for such an event..." Cal raised a brow at the obsidian-haired teen, genuinely interested in knowing.

The Slytherin's smile faded as he noticed a chocolate frog hopping towards him relentlessly. At this, his brows lowered in confusion, then tightened in indignity when it stopped to perch right on his left shoe. Cal huffed in irritation before moving to fling the candy away with an abrupt kicking motion.

  • Jade watched as the chocolate frog was flung away, back towards her. But instead of it reaching the darkened corner where she stood, the frog came in contact with something. Or, rather, someone.

To her horror, it had just landed in a poor soul's hair! They were oblivious to it, and Jade couldn't help but snicker a bit. Then the person's friend yelled and pointed to the girl's scalp- and then the frog leapt away. Another person was used as a foot-hold of the frog as it hopped from one person's head to another. Soon, it was back in the air, flopping around and bouncing from head to head.

People started to notice, people started to laugh, and others yelled, quite a few leapt out of the candy's way. Finally it came 'round to Jade again and- Squirpple! She crushed the rogue frog under her shoe. She shook her head and chuckled a bit as she wiped a mess of chocolate off her sneaker. By then, heads that had been turning to watch the frog's flight had turned to look at her. She turned away from the crowd's stares and, instead of meeting their gazes, continued chipping chocolate from the sole of her shoe.

Perhaps next time I buy candy, I'll just stick to Bertie Bott's Every Flavour Beans...

  • Cal followed the chocolate frog's path back and forth as it tormented and roamed the room with ease. It must have had a renforced spell upon it for it to be able to move about for so long, the Slytherin noted to himself. His eyes narrowed slightly at the young Ravenclaw who had been foolish enough to let one loose. And to think that Ravenclaws were supposed to have the greatest intelligence.... He scoffed silently at that. The white-blonde male turned back to Elis after a moment, debating whether or not he should call the Ravenclaw out on her act.
