Shade flew overhead, his dragon wings outspread. He sighed, knowing he wasn't loved.

Dark heart, a Ebony black she with deep sapphire blue eyes trodden through the trees, grumbling softly about life. How it was unfair that the wrechedtwolegs had made opinions us like an adder, unable to touch another's flesh in fear of burning them. With the poision came lonliness and distance. It had been nearly a two seasons since she escaped, and she was afraid to go home, afraid she hurt her friends or even clan mates. She hated this, and simply wanted to end her own life to put things right. As she went, small acid burning paw steps followed, easily marking where she had been in the fallen dried leaves of Leaffall. Sighing softly she stopped beside a stream, knowing the taste would only be foul but she was thirsty as she bent to lap at it. The sound of sizzling and hissing came from her tongue as the cooling water seemed to burn her insides but she had no choice. She was test subject, an incomplete experiment gone wrong.
-
Shade landed in a tree, and watched her. He wondered who she was, and why she was this far from any other cats but himself. He was curious but kept quiet.
-
After a few more laps she gave up sighing loudly and lashed out at the river, her paw sizzled and steamed instantly as some of the water evaporated on touch, but yet it made no wet marks on her paw as she turned to slink back to the shadows angrily. She felt like ticking bomb ready to explod on just about peanut hung, but she was afraid, afraid of herself and killing others even by the faintest touch. No matter what she tried, there was no escaping what the Twolegs had done to her for as long she would live, this burden would have to be hers, and hers alone.
-
Shade leapt from tree to tree, following this unusual She-Cat. He made a few branches rustle in the process. He sounded like a bird doing so.
-
She ignored everything around her until a leaf landed on her nose, making her pause and look at it through narrowed eyes. It instantly began to sizzle and then it began to burn and fell as she continued on.
-
Shade glided down in front of her. "Who are you?" He asked.
-
She stopped cold, her eyes going blank with fear as she tried stepping back. "Who are you? No, Never mind, you shouldn't be here, don't get to close, please." She begged, now frantically backing away from him.
-
Shade looked confused and began to walk towards her. "What? Did I say something wrong..?" He said sadly, his wings out a little.
-
Her head lowered, her eyes darting about as her paws began to emit a very odd scent. "Please..." She begged softly again. She obviously was nervous and scared, but not of him it seemed, but herself. "I don't want to hurt you...." She said again.
-
"Hurt me? Why?" He said and continued to walk towards her.
-
"Look, I can't..i can't explain ok, but please, I don't want to hurt anyone anymore..." She said gently, tears obviously in her eyes, yet they weren't normal, they seemed to be sizzling, and steaming, making her eyes only seem to grow red and steam.
-
"Stop walking away!" He growled and began to run to her. "I just want to talk!"
-
She paused, unsure why she did before again glance ping around. "I'm sorry.." She said, repeating it rather several times, her head shaking as she lowered herself down to the ground, fear scent mixed with something like Twolegs emitted from her in waves.
-
He began to feel sad. "I don't bite..." He muttered as he stepped over to her.
-
"It's not you I fear..." She replied hoarsely, her voice low as if she were afraid someone would try to over hear them.
-
Shade sighed. "C'mon then, why?" He asked.
-
She looked up at him, the stench of Twolegs reeking about her as she sighed, expanding a claw and snatched up a leaf. Almost at once though it seemed to sizzle in protest, begining to burn and evenly it was nothing but crumpled asked in her paw as a small breeze blew it away and she looked back down.
