  • Lance pulled his prey into the alley, wanting to stay out of sight. His prey was a man of around 30, athletic and healthy looking, which would make his blood quite flavorful. He sunk his fangs into the man's neck and began to drink

  • Ash was walking down the sidewalk heading home from her job at the diner in town. She heard rustling nearby and wrapped her coat around her tighter as a gust of wind blew her blonde hair back. She saw the alley coming up that was her short cut home and looked around to make sure no one was following her. But as she started walking down she gasped seeing a man attacking another man and dropped her purse frozen to the spot

  • Ash saw him wipe the blood from his mouth and started backing up but tripped over a piece of discarded wood. She was scared out of her mind not knowing what she just witnessed but knew she shouldn't have and feared for her life. She tried to get up and run but her legs felt frozen and weren't responding to her mental commands.

  • Lance walked over to the girl, with a swift strike he knocked her out. She'd make a fine meal, when he next needed one, or a fine servant. He carried her to his home outside the city in the woods, it was a large house, though the girl would never be able to escape it, without him letting her

  • The last thing Ash remembered was the man walking towards her and then lights out. She woke up groggy and with a pounding headache. She moaned out in pain softly as she tried to move but found she was restricted in someone's arms. She couldn't squirm around too much without getting dizzy so she pretended to fall back asleep and laid her head on his shoulder trying not to shake with fear.

  • Lance set the girl on the couch. Part of him almost felt sorry for the foolish girl, she'd simply been in the wrong place at the wrong time, but Lance didn't want his presence known, there were still a few hunters, and he'd rather not have to deal with them, so the girl would have to stay here, until he could be certain she wouldn't talk, or she died

  • Ash winced in pain at the sudden movement of being set down. She opened her eyes slightly and saw the cushions of a couch. She gulped not knowing where she was, she slowly turned over and stopped cold when she saw the mystery man looking at her.

  • Ash shrunk back into the cushions and gulped not knowing where to hide. "w-what do y-you w-want" she stuttered not knowing if she really wanted to hear the answer or not.

  • "Good question" Lance said "What i would really like is to live far away from humans, but alas they are the food source that keeps me alive so i cannot, as for what i want with you, well i can't have my presence known and you know of it, so you must stay here"

  • "No-No I don't know anything, please let me go. I won't tell anyone what I saw! I promise! I didn't even see anything really!" Ash tried to plead her eyes watering. She just wanted to go home so she could sleep and go to work tomorrow. She sat upright suddenly a the thought of her job. "I have work tomorrow! If I don't go I'll lose my job!!" She cried desperate.

  • "Hmm" Lance said thoughtfully he usually fed once every other week, but the girl couldn't miss that long of work unless it was something serious, which she'd need to be hospitalised for, unless she were to have an injury that would prevent her from working, but he couldn't think of anything "At the minimum three days" he decided "We'll see how things go after that"

  • She nodded slowly and looked at the ground trying to think of a way out. "May I go to sleep now?" she asked innocently trying to get him to leave her alone so she could find a way to escape.
