Tris bit her lip. She mewled softly and gently rubbed against the blankets. "I don't feel so hot..." she whispered. "I feel badly and I'm.... I'm so c-cold..."

"I'll go grab a few extra blankets." He left the room quickly, getting into the closet to grab some of the blankets that lie in there. On his way back into his room, he turning the air conditioning down to try and help as well.
-
Tris blinked slightly as he came in, rubbing her eyes. "Th-Thank you," she murmured, doing her best to curl up. She sighed softly, glancing up at him. "I don't like being sick," she commented sadly, her cat ears drooping.
-
"Nobody does, but sadly it still happens no matter how hard we wish it not too. You'll feel better soon though." He gave a comforting smile, laying a couple of the blankets over her and set the rest on the other side of the bed.
-
Tris smiled softly and quietly sat up. "Th-thanks, Master," she whispered, tail flicking softly.
-
"No problem." He rearranged the pillows slightly so she could sit up easier.
-
Tris gently lay against the pillows and blinked up at him complacently. "Mrrow..." she whispered softly, blinking quietly at him.
-
"So what would you like to do? Are you okay telling me what those men were doing?" He leaned back on his arms.
-
Tris frowned, confused. "They were beating me up, Master," she finally replied, currently ignoring the "Are you okay with telling me" part of the question. "You saw them.... And they had a cage..... But I don't know what that was for, unless they were hoping to capture me or something...."
-
"Well, if they are planning to take you, I'll never let you get away from me. You're too precious to me." He clenched his fist, making his point clear with a determined nod of his head.
-
Tris smiled, hugging him back gently. "Thank you, Master," she whispered, smiling gently at him. "So.... what do you like to do?"
-
"Well, I'm always either reading, swimming, or simply playing games. I'm pretty boring." He laughed.
-
"What's reading, swimming, and games?" Tris asked, confused. Alll she remembered doing was fetching the paper for her dearly departed master. Oh, and the hellish experiments she'd been through before that.
-
Happy Fourth ^^)
He looked at her shocked. "You don't know? Well, reading is when you use written words to tell a story of some kind. Swimming is what you do so you don't drown in the water, and games are fun activities you use to pass the time." He smiled gently at her as he explained each thing.
-
(You too!)
Tris felt stupid but she nodded slowly. "Oh." Shaking her lip she slowly edged sideways against the pillows then relaxed. "I guess you could teach me to read..... Seeing as I can't move well right now, I bet swimming won't be good.... We could play a game, I guess," she mused aloud.
-
"Alright. I'll try to teach you to read then. I don't know how well I'll be able to teach you, but I'll do my best." He got up and moved over to the small bookcase that sat against the far wall.
-
Tris watched him quietly, not sure if she wanted to learn to read instead of playing a game. At least, not right then. Biting her lip, she said in a tiny whisper, "C-Can we play a g-game first?"
-
"If that's what you'd like." He smiled and knelt down at the foot of the bed, reaching underneath before pulling of a large box. Placing it on the bed, he opened it. Inside was a few different games. "Do any of these look interesting to you?" He tilted the box so she could see them easier.
-
Tris looked at all the pictures on the games, slightly overwhelmed. She glanced at Candyland, Risk, Life, and various other games, not picking any of them. Finally, she pointed to a game with huge battleships depicted on it - Battleship. Tris grinned. "What's this one?" she asked softly, pulling it out and placing it on the bed as if she'd accomplished an amazing feat. "I like this one. It looks fun."
-
"That us Battleship. What you try to do is try and guess the coordinates of your opponent's ships." He pointed to the pictures on the box.
