Lily smiled. "Okay, that could work." As most of the student were filing out of the cafeteria, she turned to walk out with them. "See ya later!" she said, and swung her arms again like a sports player one last time before disappearing in the mass of kids.

  • "See you later!" Anna called after her, waving good-bye with his new free hand. Once she had disappeared he let it fall to his side, letting out a soft sigh, though the warm smile remained on his face. He was actually going to get to go to her house! And she had invited him over! He felt so happy, warm inside. He had never really had a friend like her. Most of his friends were rude, talked behind everyone's backs, and so on.

  • ((Oh! Well, good-night, sleep tight. x3))

    A GIRL ON A MISSION[/fancypost]

Lily sighed happily as the bell rang, dismissing the students from their 7th period. Grabbing her tie-died bag, she stuffed her books in aimlessly and headed out of the science class. She collected her notes on the Phylum they were studying presently, and put them in the pocket of her denim shorts. The heavy bad rubbed on her shoulder, but she wasn't fazed. She couldn't wait to see Anna. For some reason, she enjoyed being around her. She made Lily happy. And Lily liked that.

Walking up to the glass doors of the school entrance, she already spotted Anna outside, waiting. She walked out and looked around, standing beside her friend. Her 17-year old brother, Austin, was just pulling up in his red sports car. She waved at Lily, but frowned at Anna. "Who's this?" Lily smiled and held Anna's hand. "My friend. Do you mind driving us home together? We're going to study." Austin was a bit befuddled by this comment, since his sister never associated with anyone much, but shrugged. "Sure."

  • Once classes were over Anna had rushed out of the class room, through the halls, and out the front doors of the school. He failed to understand why he was so excited, but honestly didn't care. Lily made him happy, and was actually interested in being his friend. That was all he cared about. She was the one that had invited him over, and he hadn't pushed or asked if he could come over or anything. Plus, they had just met. He knew Lily was very nice. He could tell through her sarcastic behavior and walls she had built up. Walls that he had somehow managed to get through.

Once he saw her his eyes lit up, his smile growing bigger. He was about to say 'hi' when he heard her brother talk, causing him to spin around and eye the man who had replied to Lily. She had said her brother was taking them to her house, after all. It was a pretty nice car, he had to admit, though her brother didn't seem all too sure about him.

Then he felt the warmth around his hand, and looked over to see Lily standing right next to him, fingers intertwined with his and such a bright, happy look in her eyes and a big smile on her lips. He felt his face heat up, probably a bright red already, and his heart pick up pace in his chest.

  • Lily smiled as Anna blushed. Squeezing the hand, she sensed Anna's cautiousness around Austin. "Don't worry. He is a bit of a rough dimond." She chuckled a bit as she hopped in the front seat. Giving a glare at Austin that said be nice, she sighed. "Just drive," she commented when her brother returned the look. Austin chuckled and drove away.

  • Anna sat quietly in the back, staring down at his hand, waiting for his heart rate to settle. His face still felt kind of warm, though he knew it probably wasn't as red at before, which was good. He was still trying to work out in his mind why he had such a reaction. He couldn't have a crush on her... Could he? Was this what it felt like to have a crush on someone?
