What Ace really wanted to say was "I already have" but instead he bit his tongue and looked away, sighing. "I know...I just...I thought that maybe he'd go away or we could get along better without taking those pills. He tells me that it hurts him," He muttered quietly. Ace really hated this side of him, the side that easily gave into others' in pain. Sure, he couldn't care less about other people but if they were attached to him in any way he'd always try to help. Even if he was a jerk. Ace just...couldn't find out how to express this though. Shaking his head he stood up with a conflicted and down aura, silently glaring at the ground. "I don't...I don't know what to do anymore...what's my purpose, Dad? What am I alive for?" Ace asked his father, sincere and genuine.
Ashley had this...look in her face. A deep red blush was spread over her cheeks like a blanket as she bit her lip, eyes distant. "Y-yeah," She managed to stutter out, all of a sudden storming towards where her iPod was. Once she picked it up and placed her already hooked in headphones in her ears, Ashley played Rainbow Factory~By: WoodenToaster ((Which is now my favorite song. Plus, it's about the twisted version of Rainbow Dash...kinda. You'll only get what it's singing about if you read the story, Rainbow Factory...)). Ashley took a deep breath and calmed down, removing the image of a rather embarrassing memory from her mind.
