Can I swim? (OPEN)

    Hawkpath padded to the lakes edge. She warily poked the water with her paw. It felt good, even though she was no Riverclan cat. But she didn't know if she could swim or not.

    Whisperwind padded up behind Hawkpath. For a second she was tempted to push her into the water, but she changed her mind. "Hey!" she said loudly. "What are you doing?" She waded into the water. "It's not cold. Come on in." she mewed in a friendly voice.

    Hawkpath started into the water, than hesitated. "But what if I drown?" She said the last word differently. "I'll die. The fish will eat me."


    (Sorry, but the last part was soo tempting! Nomnom for the fish!)

    Whisperwind laughed. "It's really shallow. You couldn't even drown if you tried. And the fish are teeny. Come on," she said encouragingly. "You don't need to be able to swim. I can't."

    Hawkpath started in once again, than hesitated. She put her two front paws in than stopped. She studied the pattern of the water lapping at her paws.

    Hawkpath gulped and waded farther into the water. She bent down to take a drink, but since she was in the water, it was at a different level than she was used to. By accident, she dipped her whole head into the water, especially up her nose. Her head shot up and she coughed, her eyes wide.
