She smiled and looked at the setting sun, "I should be getting back out there. I have a patrol to attend," She licked Starkit once more before paddeng out.

Livingkit and Spottedkit wiggled closer to Fuzzykit,Winterkit,Smallkit, and the other kit. They all fell asleep.
-
Starkit called after Nightengaleshine, "Wait! Can I talk to you for a second?"
-
Nightingaleshine stopped in the exit of the nursery and padded back to the calling kit, "Yes?" She meowed before sitting down and wrapping her fluffy ginger tail neatly around her paws.
-
"Well," Starkit began. "I had a dream about this Clan named HawkClan. There was a prophecy and their medicine cat might be in trouble. Could I go there and train?"
-
She tilted her head in confusion, "Hawkclan? You want to go there and train?" She meowed to the kit.
-
Starkit dipped her head. "Yes. I've asked around the other warriors and they say no other Clan has an opening. But I dreamt that HawkClan's medicine cat might be in trouble. I don't want to leave SnowClan, but if StarClan showed me this, I must go."
-
Nightingaleshine's eyes filled with worry. If this kit was serious, then she would attemt to leave, "I'm sorry, Starkit, I'm afraid I can not let you do that. It's too dangerous," She meowed to the kit and padded quickly out of the den berfore the kit could reply.
-
Starkit glared after Nightengaleshine. "I will not ignore my destiny," she whispered. Starkit turned and strolled out of camp. There were no guards on duty. Starkit rolled her eyes and followed the path in her heart. StarClan was calling her to a clan in need.
-
Nightingaleshine laid down in the shade. She was very fond of Starkit, and it was painful to see the look on her face when she said no, "Mabe I should go and apoligize.." She mumbled. She padded for the nursery, but could not fing Starkit. She began to worry, "Oh no...she's gone..." She meowed, breathlessly.
-
Starkit neared the border of SnowClan and the wild open territory. She hadn't even said goodbye. But it didn't matter anymore. Her destiny was calling. Starkit turned and looked at SnowClan for the last time. "Goodbye, home. I'm moving on." she whispered.
-
Nightingaleshine began to run to the border, only to stumble into Starkit, "Starkit!? What are you doing?" She hissed softly. She didn't belive it! She actually left!
-
"Following destiny," Starkit meowed. She turned and raced away in the direction of her heart with unimaginable speed. She ran with the speed of StarClan.
-
Nightingaleshine gasped. "W-what!? Wait! Starkit, come back!" She raced after Starkit.
-
Starkit didn't wait. She kept on racing, far from her home towards destiny.
-
"Please slow down!" She begged as she raced on.
-
Starkit kept running until she vanished into the nearby mountains.
-
"Please! I wanted you to be my apprentice! I wanted to train you, and see your delighted face when you became a strong, smart warrior!" She yowled, loud enough for Starkit to hear.
-
Starkit stopped and turned. "I know," she meowed quietly. "But I just have this feeling," Starkit suddenly stopped. Her eyes grew wide and she collapsed.
-
She stared at the kit, but remained calm, "Starkit?" She padded over and nudged the kit. When she would'nt wake up, Nightinaleshine picked her up and brought her back home.
