Starkit looked up at Whitesnow. "This one is sick," she said nudging Winterkit. "She smells funny."
Snow looked at her kit. She could already guess that this kit might try to be a medicine cat.

Whitesnow nudged Winterkit."Winterkit?"she said.

Starkit sniffed Winterkit again. "It smells really odd." Starkit lay her muzzle on Winterkit's head. "She has a fever too."

Nightingaleshine
As the first snowflake falls,
a new hero rises.Nightingaleshine was sent in to check on the queens and her kits. She padded to Whiitesnow and looked down at the kit, "What's wrong with this one?" She asked her quietly.

Starkit popped her head up. "She smells funny and has a fever."

Nightingaleshine bent down and touched her head to the kit's, "A high fever," She turned to Whitesnow, "Might I suggest Borage leaves? They bring down fever, and they can help you with your milk, if you want, "She meowed, and pointed her muzzle towards a plant with pink and blue flowers and hairy leaves.

Whitesnow smiled."Thank you Nightinggaleshine!"she said.She got some of the leaves.

Nightingaleshine layed down, guarding the sickly kit from other kits.

Whitesnow ate the leaves.

She licked a paw.

Whitesnow looked at Winterkit.

She looked around, hoping that Winterkit would be okay.

Winterkit wiggled around finally.

Starkit looked at Nighengaleshine. "I wish I could do that," she sighed.

"Well, you can!" She meowed to the kit, "Anyone can..." She trailed off, "But unfortunally, not everyone chooses to. But that's for the medicine cat. You might be a medicine cat one day," She meowed and licked the kit.

Starkit sighed. "I already asked Icebreak. She said no."

Whitesnow fell asleep with her kits.
