Snowkit let out a mewl.
Whitesnow purred.She turned to Poolkit."Baby, want me to stay in here with you?"she asked her adopted kit.

Whitesnow curled herself around Poolkit.

Snow licked Snowkit's head.

Snowkit wiggled around and laid down.
Whitesnow purred.

Snow sighed and curled around Snowkit.

Whitesnow smiled at Snow and Snowkit.

Smallpaw came trotting into the nursery, closely followed by Greypaw. "Hi mom," Smallpaw meowed. "Nightengaleshine, I need you to come with me. Bring Starkit if you want but come quickly."

Whitesnow smiled at her daughter."Hey, honey"she said.
Snowkit woke up at Smallpaw's voice.The mud and blood covered kit looked up.

Snow began to lick Snowkit clean.
Starkit looked at her brother quizically.

Nightingaleshine looked at the kit and then the apprentice, "Starkit, it's up to your mother. And yes? What is it,Smallpaw?"

"Winterpaw needs help, she's caught a cold and has a bad shoulder. But if you want to help Poolkit, we can take Starkit." Smallpaw mewed.
Snow nodded. "Of course she can be an apprentice to you Nightengaleshine."
Starkit looked up eagerly. "Please? I put off my apprentice ceremony in the hopes of becoming your apprentice."
