  • Wynter glanced across the room at his friends, taking a last look at them before slipping out of the lunch room door unnoticed. The blond headed boy sighed, tears slipping from icy blue eyes. He began to run. He ran through the school until he was out of the front doors. He stopped outside and looked up at the bright blue sky. The male pulled up his hood and began to walk home like he normally would. He let his mind run over the weeks events. How a new kid had come to school. How that new kid so easily became his and his groups friend. How everyone in his group stopped caring about him, giving the new kid every ounce of their attention. He remembered how he began to feel like a total outcast in his own group of friends. He remembered he could just walk away while they were all talking and laughing, and not a single person would notice. The tears began to fall faster, making his eyes turn puffy and red. Wynter picked up the pace a bit, desperately wanting to get home. He didn't want to bring too much attention to himself, which was why he made sure not to run.

  • Name: Alex Nicholas "Nick" Nockels
    Age: 17
Appearance: Brown hair, yellow eyes, light skin (but not pale)
Personality: Nick is very bubbly and talkative. He makes jokes a lot so people really enjoy talking to him. He does notice when Wynter leaves, but is unsure of what to say so he doesn't do anything about it.
History: He moved to Wynter's school because his father got into a fight with the boss at his old town, and was fired. He found a job here and moved with his three kids. The oldest, Alicia, the middle, Nick, and the youngest, Jason. The siblings get along very well because they have to look out for each other as their father is working constantly and their mother passed away when giving birth to Jason.

  • Nick glanced at Wynter as he slipped out the cafeteria. He didn't know why Wynter always left by himself. Maybe he didn't like Nick. Maybe he just wanted to be left alone. No matter why, it still hurt a little. "Nick, who are you staring at?" Jake teased. "Oh, your girlfriend," Nick replied with a smile. Jake laughed and punched him. "Oww," Nick complained half-heartedly. "Hey, Nick, guess what Kelly said!" Candice suddenly exclaimed. Kelly screamed and lunged for Candice. They both started laughing. Nick just rolled his eyes. "She said -ow!- that you -hang on...- were hot!" she shouted trying to dodge Kelly's hands. "Well, thanks for telling the truth Kelly," Nick said slightly grinning. He glanced at his watch. "I've got five min until Bio." "Okay, let's go," Jake said.

  • Wynter eventually made it to his house. He went inside and locked the door behind him. He walked to his room and collapsed on his bed. The tears continued to find there way down his cheeks. He knew if he didn't go to school tomorrow, no one would notice. If he didn't go school anymore, no one would notice. If he didn't go anywhere, no one would notice. If... if he didn't wake up, no one would notice. If he just died no one would ever notice. With all of those thoughts running through his head, winter curled himself up into a ball, cuddling his favorite white tiger plush until he fell asleep.

  • Nick sat staring at his Math textbook. He could barely focus... Suddenly an eraser hit his head. Hard. "Ow!" he said. He looked over and saw Jake snickering. Nick rolled his eyes and looked up at the teacher. "Your homework is 9-7, do all the problems... BRIIIINNNNNGGGG!!!!!!!!!!" he said as the bell interrupted him. Nick gathered up his stuff and quickly walked out the door. As soon as Jake caught up Nick turned around to face him. "What the h**l?" he said, but he was smiling as he said it. Jake just laughed and started running. Nick chased after him, grabbing Candice and Kelly on the way. "Come on, I have to kill Jake!" Nick explained. "Why?" Kelly asked. "The classic eraser trick," Nick answered. Kelly and Candice laughed and finally they were out the door and right behind Jake. Nick pulled out an eraser and flung it and Jake. The eraser hit his mark, and Jake shouted in pain. They all laughed and stopped running. The went and sat in the nearest houses' yard. "Who's house is this?" Nick asked, looking up at it. "Wynter's, I think," Candice said. "Let's go say hi," Nick suggested. "Why? He doesn't like us anymore," Kelly said, a frown on her face. "Let's go find out if that's true," Nick said as he stood up. He walked up to the door and rang the doorbell.

  • Wynter woke to a loud irritating noise that he could only figure was his doorbell. He didn't have a clue who would be at his house right now. The teen sighed and forced himself off of the bed. He glanced in the mirror, catching a glimpse of his face. His eyes were still a little red, but he didn't really care about looks right now. He drug his feet as he slowly began to make the journey to the door. The blond eventually reached his destination and slowly opened the door. He was surprised to see his friends, but didn't let it show. "You guys need something?" he asked in a low voice that was almost a whisper. He figured they needed something from him, otherwise they wouldn't be there or remember he even existed.

  • "Hey, can we come in?" Nick asked. Kelly, Candice, and Jake weren't so kind, and they came in without asking. Candice plopped herself on Wynter's couch. Kelly stood next to the couch with her arms folded, and Jake went into the kitchen to look for food. Nick leaned in to Wynter and whispered in his ear. "Sorry about them... is it okay if we talk?"

  • Wynter watched his friends walk by, obviously unhappy about something. The blond hung his head, staring at the floor as he closed the door. He gave a slight nod to Nick, his face hidden behind his hair.

  • Nick frowned with concern and sat down on the couch. Candice turned and laid on the couch, her feet on top of Nick's legs. "I'm giving you three seconds before I start tickling," Nick warned with a smile. "I'm not budging!" Candice said. "Fine. 3...2...1..." he counted, then he took off her shoe and started tickling her feet. "Oh my god, stop!" she screamed. "Move!" he said as he kept on tickling. "Oh my god I hate you," she said with a smile as she moved her feet. Jake came in with a bag of chips and sat down on Nick's lap. "What is it with my legs?" Nick joked. "Okay, off." Jake slid off and Kelly sat down on the arm of the couch. "So, um, Wynter..." Nick started. "Why are you leaving us? Do you hate us?!" Kelly suddenly said, interrupting Nick. Nick cringed as he realized how hurtful that sounded.

  • Wynter looked at them with wide blue eyes. "No, of course not!" the blond said. "You're my best friends, there's no way I could hate you." he said softly. He took a seat on the floor, away from all of them. "You guys just seemed so much happier with Nick around, it seemed like you didn't need me anymore." he murmured softly, looking at the ground. "I've never been really important in the group anyways..." he added, trailing off. Wynter had to hold back tears when he thought of them just agreeing with him. He figured they did. He refused to look up at any of them as he sat there, feeling like an outcast in his own group of friends in his own home.

  • Nick's heart missed a beat after hearing what Wynter said. Kelly looked shocked, Jake nearly spit out his chips, but Candice just sat there staring at Wynter, trying to not show emotion. Nick stood up and walked over to Wynter and sat down facing him with his legs folded under him. "Wynter..." Nick said softly. He gently put a finger on Wynter's chin and pushed his face up to face Nick. "Look... we still want you around. You are very important to us!" Nick said. "I'm sorry if I made you feel left out..."

  • Wynter stared at Nick, finding it funny that this guy barley knew him, yet he was the only one to say anything. The blond wanted to say something along the lines of 'speak for yourself' but he didn't. He didn't know much to say so he just forced a smile at Nick, "Okay... and i-it's fine." he said softly. He glanced around at his other friends. He couldn't help but wonder if their surprise was fake as he sat there. His icy blue eyes found their way back to Nick, letting a tear or two fall. He felt the wetness on his cheek and school his head away from the other male's hand, wiping at his eyes.

I knew you were trouble when you walked in
    So shame on me now
Flew me to places I'd never been
Till you put me down oh
I knew you were trouble when you walked in
    So shame on me now
Flew me to places I'd never been
Now I'm lying on the cold hard ground

OOC: Wow you are good... haha :D
IC: "No, it's not fine... I can't believe I did something like that. From now on, if you feel left out tell me, okay?" Nick said, looking back at the others for support. "Um, yeah..." Jake said. Nick rolled his eyes. Kelly, feeling sorry about how she had yelled earlier, came up to Wynter and gave him a hug. "I'm sorry..." she said, a tear forming on her own eye. Candice leaned forward and made a fist and put it under her chin. "I know it doesn't seem like it... but we really do care about you. We've just been super selfish and didn't see that you were hurting..." Nick said as he put a hand on Wynter's shoulder.

Someday I'll be living in a big ol' city
And all you're ever gonna be is mean
Someday I'll be big enough so you can't hit me
And all you're ever gonna be is mean
Why you gotta be so mean?

  • (Lol thanks you are too)

Wynter snugglez, hugging Kelly back. "Its fine." he told her softly. He looked at Nick, giving a little nod to what he had said. The male still felt unneeded in the group, but the fact that Nick was trying so hard gave him a glimmer of hope. Kelly's hug helped a little too. He glanced at his two friends who seemed to care the least, but turned his eyes back to Nick. He gave him the sweetest smile he could manage at the moment and said this, speaking to all of them, "I'm sorry I made you think I hated you guys. I didn't mean for it to come off like that. I just figured no one would notice. You guys are all I've got, so I don't ever want you to think that. I love all of you." Wynter told them honestly, getting quieter as he spoke. He felt weird telling all of them that, seeing how it was normally the girls he said it to. He looked back at the floor, silently stating at it.

    OOC: :)
IC: Nick smiled slightly. "Hey, it's okay. We'll be here for you from now on. I promise," Nick said. "And we love you too," Kelly said, squeezing Wynter again. Candice nodded her head, and Jake popped a chip in his mouth. Candice grabbed the bag and laid it on the floor out of Jake's reach.

  • Wynter hugged Kelly again. He felt the edges of his lips curl into an actual smile. He thought it was weird how he had just felt like the most hated person of all of his friends and now he kind of felt like they maybe cared. He held onto Kelly tightly before letting his grip loosen.

    OOC:
IC: Nick smiled. He stood up. "You got any popcorn, or icecream?" he asked. "If you do I'll make some for all of us." Jake nodded vigorously and Candice rolled her eyes at him. "You should stop thinking so much about food, and more about here and now," she said. Kelly stood up too and walked back over to the couch, sitting in between Candice and Jake.

  • Wynter nodded, "Yea there should be some of both of those in there somewhere." he said softly, getting up. He smiled at Candice and Jake, "It's fine." He made it to his feet and looked at Nick, "I'll help with whatever." he said. "What exactly do you guys want?" he questioned, lettin ghis gaze sweep over them all.

    OOC:
IC: "Popcorn!" Kelly and Candice said at the same time. "That's fine with me," Nick said. "I don't care as long as" Jake started. "You get food, we know," Nick said rolling his eyes. He walked into the kitchen, following Wynter. "So, how long have you known them?" he asked.
