    Rainpaw was still asleep with in her nest as she got up and looked around the den to see what was going on as she got up and walked out of the apperintice's den to see what was going on in the camp.

    IC- Promethean tried to block out the sound of the screeching toddler that stood a few feet in front of him. Loud gunshots sounded from the tv in front of his owner, the older twoleg. His owner shook his fist at the little girl and shouted at her, his face red. The toddler continued to scream.
    Shut UP! Promethean thought, trying to cover his ears with his paws. Realizing it wasn't helping, he dashed into the kitchen, where a exhausted, female twoleg was stirring something in a pot. Steam loomed over the room, making Promethean feel sticky. I can't take this anymore, he thought frantically, beginning to hyperventilate. He squeezed his bright green eyes shut and waited for the twoleg before him to start shouting at the kids, just like she did everyday. Sure enough, the twoleg started to yell, but she also opened one of the windows.
    Freedooooommmm! Promethean thought and leapt up onto a counter and out the window. The female twoleg shrieked and grabbed at his tail, but her attempts were futile. He collided with the soft, grassy ground and rolled. The twoleg was still screaming, but none of that mattered anymore. Promethean's tore throughout the suburb and skidded to a halt when he saw the forest before him.
    Tall, slender trees were spaced about, large rocks lay in piles, and the ground was a mixture between feather soft moss and bright green grass.
    "Woah," Promethean croaked, his voice raspy from never speaking.

    IC- Tentatively, Promethean placed paw after paw onto the soft, mossy grass. It was so much different from the dry, patchy grass his twolegs. How dare they keep me from this?!/i] Promethean gritted his teeth and let his claws unsheathe. They were rounded at the tip, the twolegs always insisted in keeping them this way.
