    "It's okay" Ferretpaw comforted. Her mate stood over her, tears streaming from his eyes.
    "Stop saying that! You will survive!" Blood covered his paws. The cut in her neck wouldn't stop bleeding.
    "I'll go get moss. You'll be okay. Everything will be okay." He started to run, but he heard a faint voice.
    "Goldenpaw, we both know I'm going to StarClan. Please stay with me." He came back, and didn't argue. The tom snuggled up to his mate.
    "I love you. Forever." Ferretpaw forced a smile, and struggled for breath.
    "Please, no! I love you! Please stay!" It was too late.

    "I'll get her." Shimmerpool, a slender she-cat with olive green eyes and a shimmering black pelt, walked past the kit. She was originally from Shadowclan, but her mother was a Riverclan cat, which is where she got such a glossy pelt. She stepped down into the real world and watched as ferretpaw's life ebbed until it had all but vanished. "Hello, Ferretpaw. Welcome to Starclan." She greeted the apprentice. She couldn't decide if she was happy or sad. She hated it when young cats died before their time, but it is so amazing when you first come to Starclan. You know so much, and have so much power. And you always are healthy.

She meowed.Her brown fur with just the hint of silver was fluffy and she sneezed.She smiled.This was a hard time but she oddly was always able to smile.Born a loner but lived in a clan long enuf to learn about StarClan and when she died a moon later of GreenCough,She was accepted into StarClan.

    A scrawny calico tom limped up next to Shimmerpool. His amber eyes watched her carefully, waiting for her spirit to rise from her body. His name had been Splatterkit at one point, but a fall caused one of his legs to break away from his body. He was nowknown as Hiddenleg, and died a moon after his injury.
