Skyler was walking home , while she was passing the bridge she saw someone leaning over the railing. As she approached the bridge a little closer she gasped, seeing that it looked like the figure on it was going to jump.
Skyler blushed a bright red , when the boy on the bridge turned around and looked at her. "Um hi .... What are you doing?" She asked awkwardly, even though she knew perfectly well what he was planning to do.
"Of course it does." She said looking him in the eyes, while her voice took on a more confident tone.
"Yeah...." She said softly as she saw the tears in his eyes.
Skyler stepped forward grabbed on to the boys hand lightly , "Why?"
Skyler looked at him for a moment , before wrapping her arms around him in a hug. " I'm sorry." She said quietly. She had seen her own sister take her life, she didn't want to see someone else do the same.
Skyler felt the stranger hug her back, and then she said "Um, I'm skyler by the way."
