    Arthur added his own power to the magic of the wizards as he walked slowly to the last circle, planning on releasing Liannon as well, but paused and looked back when he heard a gun being cocked, seeing Alan with his gun pointed right at Arthur's heart. " again, Alan Ryves? You don't have the stomach to shoot me." He said. " I didn't shoot you last time because Nick had it under control. I named him, he's my demon and forcing him in a circle won't work, just like it didn't work last time because his power responds to my command." Alan said. Arthur scowled and looked over at Nick and Anzu, still fighting hard. The other wizards added their own defensive powers to Anzu, to even it out a bit.

    Scottie and Sage watched, feeling the powers rippling back and forth.

    The other wizards were focused on the demon fight as well, adding even more of their power to their demon, giving Anzu even more power, just enough to wrestle Nick to the ground. Hnikarr had been stronger than Anzu, but in human form his power was limited and it couldn't be released unless he was in a circle

    Scottie, noting Nick's disadvantage, used her own magic as a booster to his current powers, helping to increase them several times over. Sage added a few boosters as well and an enchantment on Alan's gun to help it hit it's mark more accurately.

    Sage immediately threw up a defense and Scottie worked up a powerful wind spell to counterattack.

    Using the magic booster the girls had given him, Nick slammed Anzu against a tree and drove a thick branch through his shoulder and the tree, pinning him to it then he turned to Arthur. " Your demon lost and you can't release Liannon without getting shot. Give up." Alan said but Arthur just smirked. " Anzu was never supposed to win. He was a distraction until Liannon had finished using her own demon magic. The kind of ability known only to her that allows her master to do this." Arthur said then caught a trinket Liannon had thrown from her circle and muttered a chant that made it glow. Nick and Anzu both reacted to it, snarling in pain and holding their hands over their ears as if trying to block out a deafening noise, Nick went down onto his knees as well and Arthur ordered his wizards to draw a circle around the weakened demon.

    Scottie slipped out of her defensive spell and targeted the trinket. Suddenly, it shattered into a thousand pieces. "Give up," she snarled, weaving an attack at any wizards who came near Nick. Her eyes were glowing golden green with the magic she was wielding.

    With the trinket destroyed, Nick snarled and climbed to his feet. Seeing the strength of the girls, Arthur narrowed his eyes, " don't think this is over." He growled and used one more spell, teleporting him and his wizards away from the area


    Scottie waited til he was gone, then collapsed to the ground, exhausted. She glanced over at Nick, satisfied he was okay, then slowly released the magic she'd built up into the ground, trembling.


    Sage bit her lip, sitting down and breathing deeply. She carefully walked over to Alan, shaking. "That was.... terrifying who were those guys....?"

    Alan uncocked his gun and slid it back into the sheath on his back, " that was the obsideon circle. The wizards that have been after us for years." He replied then looked over at Nick, " they know where we live now. We'll have to move again." He said and Nick nodded

    Sage nodded. "I'll go get us packed," she said, vanishing back to the house and beginning to pack her and her sister's things. She waved her hand and the boys' things packed themselves without her having to go into their rooms.


    Scottie bit her lip. "Oh," she whispered. "They know what they're doing. That was a pretty exhausting battle." She slowly got to her feet and began limping home.

    Alan started walking with Sage but looked back when he noticed Nick hadn't moved. He was watching Anzu, still pinned to the tree and Liannon, still stuck in her circle. " Nick?" He asked. " I'll catch up." Nick replied. Alan hesitated, worried about leaving Nick alone after what had just happened, but he nodded and started walking again.

    Scottie winced, nearly falling as she reached the door. Biting her lip, she helped finish the last bit of packing that Sage was doing, then cast a spell on their garden. When they got to their new home, she'd be able to teleport the garden there with them.

    Sage and Scottie nodded gratefully, finding empty places in their rooms to sleep.

    Sage had woken and was making breakfast.


    Scottie was curled up in her room, crying softly.

    Scottie turned and looked up at him, her tears gone. She nodded hello, unsure what else to do. Biting her lip, she got up slowly. "Time to go then?"
