  • When the predawn started, so did the demon dance. Most of the tourists had gone now and only a few remained , the ones paying the market to summon demons so they could get information. The girl had changed from a showy silver dress to a black one more appropriate to move in. She drew the summoning circle then stood on the edge of it with Nick. When the drums sounded, they started moving, dancing skilfully over the lines until the demon arrived, then they split up, standing in their own circles to keep their bodies out of the demons reach. Out of the two demons Nick could summon, they'd called the female one, Liannon.

  • Sage smiled, and shrugged noncommittally. "'S'fine."

    Scottie nodded. "Yeah. Same here."

  • Scottie grumbled slightly to herself in the back, while Sage did her homework. "What next?"

  • "Oh... What if we just tried to live and stay in one place for a little while," Sage asked.

Scottie nodded. She was tired of feeling like she lived in a moving carnival.

  • "No. You had us move in with you. We live in the attic now," Sage replied, looking confused. "R-Right...?"

  • Alan nodded, " of course, but Nick and I only get a few months living in one place, if we're lucky. Once we're found by the witches, we have to move. If your ok with that, then your more than welcome to stay." He said

  • Scottie looked up."I'm fine with that. But, what if we... could stop the witches?"

Sage bit her lip. "I'll be happy to move along with you. But.... what if Scottie's right? What if we could stop them?"

  • Scottie nodded. "That's our specialty. It's the... the demons we have trouble with. No offense to you, Nick," she replied.

  • "So, you handle the demons and we handle the witches," Scottie theorized.

  • "I don't want to be afraid anymore. I'd rather die. I can handle the witches. Not just for you, but for us," The two sisters replied, in unison.
