Ash was wandering through the forest until she smelled fresh killed rabbit. Her stomach growled loudly and she whimpered trying to remember the last time she ate. She was barely a year old and her mother hadn't want her because she was the runt. Sighing she saw a small stream near a den and went over to it planning to drink then check out the den.

Emerald looked around and saw a small pup a year old.Emerald sat up and crouched and watched behind a bush as the pup drank some water.

Once Ash was finished drinking she slowly padded over to the den wary of what could be inside but praying it be empty.
