    Zalkia traveled back down to the smaller cave. He greeted Amani with a short nuzzle. "What did King Hoderi say?" she asked immediately. The male ignored her question and stared into the dark cave. "We can leave him now. Let's go get some sleep" he nodded to PrideRock. The pale lioness frowned but obeyed her mate. The two padded beside each other until they reached the main den.

    "Wrong one!" Denahi called out as he was still on the zebra, biting it. All the comottion rustled up the pride above and some birds and they made wretched calls from being spooked.
    The herd zipped past Rune as the lion was lapping up water.
    one of the zebra's hoof stomped in the pond and splashed some water on Rune.

    Shri couldn't hear the cheetah/lion over the noise of the zebra's calls and their stomping hooves. She bit down on the fallen zebra's neck and scratched at its face with her claws.

    Bakari flicked his tail and shook his head. Part of his pure black mane fell infront of one of his green eyes. "So why aren't you with your pride now," his voice was soft yet deep. He couldn't remember the last time he saw a red lioness before.

    "What the!-" Rune was cut off by the zebra herd as water splashed his face. He started shaking the water out of his mane. Run moaned "Could today get any worse?"he asked.

    ic: A pained expression crossed Amara's face for a moment "I just had to get a away for a while is all." it wasn't exactly a lie.


    Jani trotted back into priderock she passed Koni and Aina. She walked to he and her mother's normally sleeping area and laid down.

    Koni looked up from his paws as a lone figure walked in the cave. She was little and quiet. His dark eyes followed her as she went to sleep. "Jani!", he whispered urgently. "Where is your mother?"

    Bakari saw her expression of pain and he backed away from the subject. A thought ran through his head and brought back one of the memories. He pushed it away and laid his ears backing hoping she didn't notice a change in his behavior. The male sat down and studied the red lioness a little more. Bakari didn't know what to say because usually the others started the talking.

    ic: Jani looked up at Koni when he called to her. The cub got up and padded over to him"The border." she said simply, thinking of the cave and the rouge which was very close to the border.


    Amara watched the male lion in silence, she couldn't think of anything to say. She looked out of the cave for a brief moment seeing that the sun had set and it was quite dark outside.

    The male shook his gaze off the lioness and looked towards the ground. "You may stay here as long as you would like," he said and got up. He walked to the back part of the den and laid by the wall. He closed his eyes, but didn't fall a sleep. "Report me if you want, but I won't be here for long," Bakari said and then let out a slight sigh.

    A confused look appeared on Koni's face. What would she be doing there? He focused back on Jani and gave a small smile. "Um thanks. Go back to sleep" he whispered to her. The cave had started to settle and the sound of soft breathing filled the air.

    ic:"I think I will just stay the night. Its too dark and too far of a walk back to pridrock." Amara said laying down.


    Jani nodded and went back to her sleeping spot and fell asleep.

    Bakari flicked his ear and lifted his head to look at the lioness. She is different than the other lionesses, he thought to himself. He rested his head back on his paws and closed his eyes. His tail was gently resting by his side as he slowly fell a sleep.

    Rune soon then dashed off into the tall grass, he looked back over the way he came from as darkness swept the land.Rune walked to a place were he saw and ditch and seeked cover from the harsh winds the came with the night.

    Finally, her own zebra had gone limp. Shri got up and looked over at Denahi and realized he had attacked different zebra. "Nice catch.." she complimented, though, she really was quite angry that the male hadn't come to help her with her own zebra. She took a deep breath, trying to calm her racing heart.

    "Well, less for the better" He said, trying to take a real saying and make his own. So, less lions to get 2 zebras" He said, trying to explain it to her. "What now?" He asked, wishing he could of stayed on that zebra.

    "Err.. well, I don't really have a pride or anything so I don't know.." she said awkwardly. Shri glanced at the male, wondering what he was thinking.

    Sorry for being so inactive! My internet constantly went down and I've had many sport competitions to attend!


    IC: Aina was comfortable where she was laying, she had noticed that Jani had come alone and that worried her as well. Her blue eyes shined with worry, hoping that Amara would get back safely.
