Lyric spun around, fangs bare and slowly crouched then taking in the seen he lunged forward. He grabbed at Helen, gwntly yanking at her arm before yanking her away, his eyes dark.

Helen yelped as she was pulled aside. The attacker crouched down, knife in hand, and rose to stab Lyric under the chin.
-
Lyric dropped, narrowly missing the knife. He growled reaching for Helen again, "Run."
-
Helen complied, turning and sprinting off, hoping that Lyric did the same. Their attacker swore and took off in pursuit.
-
Lyric dove forward, wings sporting from his back as he lunged at the attacker. Hoping to let Helen get away he fell with the attacker before slowly drawing his wings in and crouching, trying to look febal. "Please! Don't hurt her, take me! "
-
The attacker stopped in his tracks. They were wearing a black bandanna over the bottom half of their face and a pair of dark ski goggles covered his eyes, so it was impossible to tell what he was thinking. Without warning, he leapt at Lyric, trying to stab him in the chest.
-
Lyric willed all his magic into making his death look real, it leaving him completely drained. To the attacker and anyone else's point of few it would look as if the attacker just stabbed him in the chest but he was very much still alive evwn as he fell back and limp against the grass
-
The attacker stared down at Lyric for a moment, then turned and began racing off in the direction Helen had gone.
-
Alice had been called to the scene by another student qho had seen someone chasing the two, she landed beside Helen, catching her wrist gently. "Helen, I have to get you home. Now."
-
Helen turned and stared at Alice, eyes wide. "Lyric, he's back there!" she cried, her breath coming in short gasps. "You have to save him! Please..."
-
Alice looked torn, but she reluctantly transported Helen home, taking three minutes in total before rushing off to find Lyric. "Lyric! Lyric!" She cried
-
Helen, meanwhile, was being consoled by her mother and father, who were trying to reassure her that everything was alright. Alice would handle everything.
As Alice called out, a figure in a grey hoody appeared from around the corner of a house. He rushed at Alice silently, knife in hand.
-
Alice paused, her senses crackling. "Did Alex a end you?" She asked softly, not quiet turning around.
-
The assassin paused, then responded, "It will do you no good if I tell you. You're going to die here. Just like that fool of a boy who tried to fight me."
-
Alice straightened her posture, "If I am to die why would it matter if I knew the name of your sender?" She just prayed Lyric had done something to prevent death.... he was a smart boy of course he did
-
The man hesitated. "Very well. The man who sent me called himself Alex, yes. Now die!" as he spoke, he leapt at the woman, knife flashing.
-
Alice spun just out of reach, "Surely he didn't send you to kill me, " Alice reached for her own dagger, pulling it from her boot, "I mean you are aware of who I am, yes?"
-
"I'm afraid I don't," the assassin replied. "But I wasn't paid to not kill someone." he rushed forward again, swinging his knife to plunge it in her chest.
-
Alice brought her dagger up to block it, "Lady Alice Rolheir, and kill me Alex will have your head."
-
The attacker stood there, his knife locked against Alice's dagger, his expression unreadable beneath the bandanna and dark goggles. Suddenly, he broke the lock against her dagger and jumped back, then turned and bolted.
