Yeah. Glad you're back :) but now I've co.pletely forgotten the plot of this thread.
Um... Helen and Lyric are the last seekers they hate each other but must overcome this in hopes that their breed can prosper and survive.
I remember now. Thanks.
Helen stalked down the hall to the bathroom. She didn't need to go, she just wanted to wash off her face and cal mdown. Encountering that stupid boy always left her disheveled, it seemed.
(what if some kind of anti-seeker group tries to kill Lyric or Helen to make them go extinct?)
(Helen's original attacker, Alex, might be up to something. )
Lyric glared after her, angry but pleased she walked away in a fit of anger.
Yesh! :)
Helen washed her face and looked in the mirror, taking deep breaths. "I have to calm down," she said. "Just try to be nice to him, Helen."
Lyric gently hummed, putting his frustration into a drawing of Helen, juat for the fun of it.
Finally, Helen emerged from the bathroom and went to her locker. Just as she fished her stuff out, the bell rang for the end of the day. Shouldering her backpack, she walked down the hall and hummed to herself, eager to get home and complain to her parents about that infuriating boy.
Lyric wouldn't let her get so far, coming up beside her. "Hello, Helen." He greeted
"Hello, annoyance," Helen growled. She walked fatser, hoping he would give up if she outpaced him.
Lyric huffed, "I'm sorry! " He called after her.
Helen paused, took a deep breath, then turned and walked back to him. "I don't hate you," she said. "But I hate the fact htat everyone is trying to force us together."
Lyric shrugged, "All my life i've been told that one day I'll have to accept the fact i'm the only current dominate seeker...But that aside would you like to talk....no mentions of School or Seekers?"
Helen bit her lip, then shrugged. "Fine. I'll bite." She turned back to the door. "Come on, we can go to the park."
"One tiny question, is this really your first time to the Seeker world?"
Helen nodded. "Yeah, it is. I honestly don't like it very much," she said. "Why do you ask?"
Lyric shrugged again, "While I didn't grow up here....I made frequent visits with my mum."
"And what does that have to do with you wanting to know how long I've known of seekers?" Helen asked, slightly confused. Unknown to them, a shadowy figure followed them from a distance, waiting to strike.
"It's just that... you know... your the first seeker I ever met and you don't have a clue!" Lyric suddenly blushed, "S-sorry that came out wrong. "
"You know, if you're trying not to tick me off, you're not doing a very good job," Helen said. "So, how did you-" suddenly, Helen was yanked back with a gasp. A figure in a dark grey hoodie had an arm around her neck and wa sabout to plunge a dagger into her chest.
