Lyric felt the tension in his mother's hug. He knew she was worried, he knew he had to listen. "Come on, Helen." He started towards class.

Helen followed Lyric, but stayed a bit away, still wary of her fellow seeker.
-
"I don't bite." He murmured, then sighed obviously confused.
-
"Technically, you do," Helen pointed out. She lapsed into silence once more, before blurting out, "your dad kidnapped me, and I hate him."
-
"My aunt kidnapped you, you hate my aunt, my father merely stood by and kept your mother at bay." Lyric corrected.
-
"He was still complicit," Helen said angrily. "Don't talk to me." She brushed past Lyric and entered the classroom, sitting down in the back.
-
"Oh please, don't be such a drama queen, Helen." He scowled and followed her, "Mother gave us orders."
-
"Well, your mother can take her damn orders and shove them-"
-
Lyric's eyes narrowed, "Go on say it. " He challenged, "Say it. Say something bad for the person who risked her life to save you and your own mother and father. Come on, say it. "
-
Helen glared hatefully at Lyric. "She also apparently had me and my mom kidnapped, or at the very least allowed it to happen. I've never felt safe since then, do you understand? I've never been able to go anywhere without fearing that something like that would happen again."
-
"Oh please, nothing happened between my parents until after that, and she didn't allow it to happen she didn't know. Technically it's your blood that gets you in trouble." Lyric returned the glare with a totally normal glance, "It's the same way for me, trust me."
-
"I don't care," Helen spat back. "Just leaveme alone. I don't want anything to do with a kid of Lacus."
-
"Too bad your stuck with me and I won't let you destroy our species."
-
"How would I destroy our damned species?" Helen demanded, more shocked than angry now. "I just want the left alone."
-
"Exactly." Lyric replied, "You wanting to be left alone might as well have killed us."
-
"What the heck do you..." Helen trailed off, eyes growing wide with realization. "You aren'tsuggesting that we're supposed to..."
-
A smirk adorn Lyrics face, "No not that sweetheart, though I wouldn't mind."
-
Helen flushed deep red. "What is it then, you mororn?" She demanded.
-
"By one of us being without the other, mainly you without me because your powers have been suppressed for years, it limits our powers in these, lame if it's you, puffs of power." Lyric explained.
-
Helen scoffed. "Whatever you want to believe. Just...don't talk to me, okay?"
