  • River's mom was excited to meet the new neighbors. She heard that they had a boy around River's age so she wanted them to meet because she thought he needed more friends. River was playing his DS when his mom walked in and took it from him, "Hey! WTF I was playing that." he snapped. "Today is the day the new neihbors move in, so we're going to meet them and you're coming. Now get up." and with that she left the room. River sighed and pulled on some black skinnies and a shark hoodie. He walked out of his room and his little sister ran up to him all excited. They all were ready so they went over and River's mom knocked on the door.

(River has black hair with red streaks. His skin is kinda pale and he's a neko. He has two studed snake bites on his lower lip)

  • Leo walked over to the door and opened it. "Hello." He greeted them.

(Leo has dark brown hair and pale blue eyes)

  • River's mother smiled warmly at the boy, "Hello. We're your new neighbors, and we just wanted to welcome you to the neighborhood. My name is Alice, this is Emma," she waved her hand as River's little sister, "and this-" she tugged River into view, "is my son, River." she introduced them. River stared blankly at the guy in the doorway while his sister bounced on her heels. "Hi~" the chirppy little girl greeted. River just looked away, disinterested.

  • Leo nodded and glanced at each of them, not particularity interested. But he knew it would be rude just to shut the door in their faces. "Hey." Leo said to the girl, and then turned away. "I have some stuff to do. It was nice meeting you."

  • Emma watched him turned around then looked at the ground, "O-okay." she said softly. River's mom smiled politely, "Nice meeting you too." she said, looking at River. But River was already walking home.

  • Leo closed the door and leaned against it, a wave of exhaustion passing over him. He trudged into the kitchen and sat down in one of the chairs.

  • The family went back home and River went straight to his room. He flopped down onto his bed, landing on his stomach.

  • Leo finally decided he needed to do something useful so he exited the kitchen and walked down the hallway until he got to his room. The door squeaked as Leo pushed it open and walked inside. He picked up his suitcase and laid it on the bed, taking his stuff out of it.

  • River snuggled into his sheets for a few minutes, wondering what he should do. He sighed heavily, his head as blank as a clean sheet of printer paper. His eyes scanned the room, sweeping over his tv and consol. He thought about playing that, but didn't think any of his friends would be online at the moment.

  • After a few minutes, Leo got bored and just laid on his bed. He stared up at the ceiling and hummed to himself. Leo groaned and closed his eyes.

  • River sighed and sat up on his bed. He grabbed his phone and played some music. He got up and started rocking out to his great songs.

  • Leo got off his bed and walked put of his room and back down the hallway. When he got into the kitchen, he saw his mom. "I'm going for a walk." Leo explained and dashed out the door.

  • River continued to dance around, enjoying himself until his mom yelled at him about disturbing neighbors. Not that he really cared. He turned off the music and sat on his bed, thinking of what to do now.

  • River stood up and grabbed his black basketball. He took it outside and started playing around with it.

  • Leo looked up and saw River. He stopped walking for a moment, wondering if he should walk over and saw hi.

  • River was more or less bored with dribbling and throwing the ball around, but he didn't really know what else to do at the moment.

  • "Aren't you River?" Leo called out after a seconds hesitation.
