Aw, but Luke becomes such a sweetheart though. Oh, the character development he went through is just outstanding. Abyss is by far one of the better games for that. Plus Anise. She's the bomb.

I suggest playing Abyss. It was great fun. However I really like Xillia, Xillia 2 I'm questionable about. Graces is really fun too. But Phantasia is by far my favorite.

Well, I never watched or played ToI. As for Symphonia 2... I am not a fan. But I don't think people should be out right hating on it. It isn't an awful game or anything. Symphonia however was great. One of my most favorite games I played. I just think they waited to long to decide to do a sequel, and I personally thought a sequel wasn't necessary to the Symphonia plot line. But many of the original players of Symphonia didn't like Emil as the main, or the fact he had an issue with the previous hero, or how the game pre-presented the previous cast. So I think its the fact that its compared to the first game, is where it gets a lot of the bad reviews. However, I do like the fact that the world map in Symphonia 2 is the same to Phantasia. So I like that. Phantasia takes place in the same universe and world, just 5000 years in the future.

{{ OOC }};;The thing about ToS2 is people have to be realistic. Imagine you're just a regular kid in a town and suddenly your home gets purged by someone posing as the Hero from two years ago, but you don't even know that he's not the actual one who did it. You see people being killed and slaughtered by Lloyd, wouldn't you hold a grudge too? And next thing you know, you're being sent to who you think is your aunt and uncle but because word hadn't gone out to anyone of the purge, everyone thinks you're lying and trying to oppose "Lloyd the Great" and you're being abused and resented and called a monster. The character development Emil gets in ToS2 is also amazing. He goes from a shy weakling to a strong boy who actually sealed away his stronger half.

Yeah, same tree. The sword that Lloyd broke into two swords, cress has to put them back to one. While playing that part i was thinking why would anyone do that. Then i played Symphonia and was like... oooooh. Also the elf villiage is just about the same save a few differences.

I kind of feel like i'm walking into this conversation late, buuut... yo-!
I take a looong time to post replies sometimes (I tend to read over my writing a million times before I actually post anything, ahaha;; ), and my Luke might be slightly OOC at times.(I had been playing Abyss again about a month ago, but then Symphonia Chronicles happened..so many Tales, so little time.
